Gorgeous ! - Edit
Visited Somerleyton Hall and Gardens whilst on holiday and decided to have coffee.
Read moreTo our delight we discovered the cafe was 100% plant based, so we stopped for sandwich and cake. We had the grilled courgette, red pesto and salad sandwich and an apple scone to share and coffee. The food was made to a very high standard and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the menu, and was super delicious.
We spoke to a lovely guy who worked there who told us that most of the produce is from the kitchen garden there and topped up with other food from a local farm. He was very informative and it was lovely that he took time to speak with us.
I would definitely recommend arriving hungry as there is so much choice of yummy food!
Also the gardens are beautiful 😀

Absolutely wonderful cafe! - Edit
Went to a plant sale at Somerleyton Hall and was absolutely delighted to find out the cafe was plant based. There offerings are homemade, seasonal and ethical. Very high quality, varied offerings and delicious food. I had the curried chickpea roll, a cornflake jam tray bake and once I saw how skillfully they made the coffee, a oat milk cappuccino. All wonderful. The woman running it was lovely and the male barista was brilliant and friendly. Will definitely be back!
