Pretty Green

Lovely, pretty cafe in an idyllic setting. We had the vegan cheese and ham toastie and the vegan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and grilled peppers toastie, which were delicious and served on a lovely tiger bread, but there was no vegan coleslaw alternative unfortunately.

We also each got a decaf soya latte, and some beans on toast and a coconut chocolate macaroon for our son, which he loved. The coffees were great too and it was nice to have them outside and enjoy the views.

Very cute

Lovely little cafe, great stop when visiting Washington Old Hall. We both got a vegan cheese toastie with lots of veg and a choice of three homemade vegan chutneys. Very yummy!

We also got fruit scones, they were ok but not great. You must ask for the vegan ones as they weren't on display. A nice few different vegan cakes options available as well.

Overall, very nice for somewhere with no a lot of vegan options. If you don't like toasties though then maybe not the place for you, unless you want a coffee and a cake. Coffee was lovely!

Lots of speciality tea options and matcha available as well ☺️ We went around mid day and it was really busy! Lots of seating outside and upstairs though.

Pros: Coffee, Toasties

Cons: Limited vegan options

Delightful Cafe

A homely and quite idyllic cafe set in the rather lovely Old Washington Village. For once I did’t get lost trying to find somewhere in Washington. The interior has a traditional English tearoom feel about with a good amount of seating inside and out. They’d sold out of vegan brownies and savoury items so we just had a vegan cheese scone and some oat milk coffees. Might be worth popping in during the week or earlier on a weekend rather than at 3pm on a Sunday next time,

Pros: nice setting , great coffees

Cons: limited vegan savoury items
