The Green Room is always a safe choice. You know those times where you’re saying “hmm, where should we go for breakfast” and the answer is The Green Room, but you’re trying to change things up. Then you either end up going to The Green Room because no other ideas are appealing or you try a new place and are potentially disappointed.
Read moreI really like the vegan special breakfast sandwich, I think it’s called a special but it’s always there. It’s nice because it’s filling and I still leave feeling great and light rather than that heavy feeling some breakfasts can leave.

Most everything can be made vegan and gluten free! I’ve always enjoyed the food, but do find it’s not the same quality as a place like Roots. It can get pretty busy and noisy, but in warmer months sitting outside in Vaughn Mall is nice.

The service was nice and laid back. They had a vegan/ gluten free breakfast sandwich that tasted good. It was very light and I felt like I could eat two of them. They didn't have any extra additives for the sandwich so it was just the only and cheese on a gluten free bagel, but the taste was there.

Lots of veganizable choices on the menu, which we always appreciate, and plenty of gluten free vegan options, which are harder to find.
Read moreWe got a total of two smoothie bowls, two orders of toast, and two sandwiches. Everything was obviously freshly made and presented nicely, but it could have used a bit of spice on the savory dishes.
I'd go again, but stick with the sweeter options on the menu.

There are many vegan options here for breakfast and we tried a lot of them! We got the vegan egg special, smoothies and toast. All were delicious! Would definitely recommend checking out!

The Green Room name should be changed to Green Washed - Edit
Nice location, espresso, a few salads and bagels and that sort of simple menu. Lots of options for people without compassion for animals but unfortunately there are far less vegan or even vegetarian options than you'd expect upon walking in. This place wants to seem like a vegetarian friendly restaurant but they make little effort at all. I ordered a salad that came with a tahini dressing that was literally solid. I didn't even eat the dressing because I think there was honey in it. There was no mention of the contents of the dressing anywhere. Prices are high. Help is rude. They serve vegan soft serve ice cream and espresso but they have no idea how to serve an affogato. It cost me nearly $10 for an affogato which was served as 1 shot of espresso and a separate full sized cup of ice cream. The ice cream alone was over $8. I cannot explain how disappointed I was with this place. Almost every menu item has either egg/cheese/cream cheese/ham/Turkey etc making it no different than every other random trash restaurant but the entire theme, facade, color scheme, etc was of a crunchy veg friendly place. Beware of this greenwashed trash!
