Dit was zó goed. Heerlijke amuse. En probeer dat hoofdgerecht met witlof en die bijzondere paddestoelen. Supergoed. Voor wie af en toe toch een kaasje eet. Het kaasplankje achteraf was erg goed. Nog nooit kaas met chocola geserveerd gekregen in een restaurant (terwijl ik dat vroeger wel eens stiekem zelf maakte).

The Green Room is een zelfstandig functionerend onderdeel van het hotel Wood. De keuken staat op hoog niveau en we hebben gesmuld van de lekkere gerechten. De kaart wordt elke 6 tot 8 weken aan het seizoen aangepast. Het aardige is dat het is opgezet als een vegetarische kaart, waar mensen die dat willen vlees bij kunnen bestellen. Het is geen goedkoop restaurant, maar de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is uitstekend.

The Green Room is een restaurant waar de groenten de basis vormen voor ieder gerecht, vlees en vis zijn optioneel maar gezien de rijke smaken van de gerechten is dit overbodig.

I have been here multiple times and have gotten take away during covid lockdowns and I can say that this place is one of my favourite restaurants. Their whole menu is fully vegetarian, meat and fish are paid add ons, and a lot of the items are vegan or can be veganised.
Read moreThe restaurant has a pretty interior with plenty of green and I have never had a complaint about the service. They are always friendly and food comes in a timely matter as well. Food looks amazing and tasted delicious.

This hotel looks amazing with its abundant plant and forest decoration. We immediately felt at home here. They also have many vegan options, although some things were out of stock (maybe due to low season?).

Finally a plant-based offer in Walcheren! You can taste the attention to detail, the work and love that the Chef put in the dishes. The optional meat and fish are really not necessary as the pleasure and textures are so varied in the plant-based offer of this restaurant. So simply enjoy the veggie and vegan dishes. Read moreI can definitely recommend the vegan breakfast. They serve 5 vegan options. My favorites were the vegan yoghurt bowl and the vegan smoothie bowl. Also they serve bread with chocolate spread topped with banana.
Diner choices are unfortunately limited to just one starter, main and desert. I thought that the portion size for dinner was quite small but just enough. Portion size for breakie was ok.

Lovely restaurant, the staff is really friendly. Felt very welcome here. The dishes are amazing and a little "out of the box" like my green curry. Very tasty however. You can go here with an non-vegan friend because if they really want than they can order (and pay!) an extra sidedish made with fish or meat.
