One of the best spots in Bath - Edit
We visit Bath, usually yearly and always make sure to visit The Green Rocket. It has been a favourite of ours for years and it never lets us down. Always recommend it to anyone visiting Bath. The cookbook is also really good, have many many recipes from it with great success!

Award winning vegan cafe and I can see why it is so popular! We went for dinner. My partner and I had: the tandoori oyster mushrooms, which were so juicy; the cauliflower wings in a sweet tangy gojuchang sauce; the gnocchi arrabiata and the Katsu curry with breaded tofu and sweet potato - every dish was spot on! We didn't have room for dessert but if we did, we definitely would have gone for the tiramisu! My husband had an oat milk white russian and I had a limewire IPA from Electric Bear - a local craft brewery. Would definitely visit again as we want to try everything!

First off, wow Wow WOW! Absolutely fantastic! Everything from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food was excellent from first to last. I went there with my brother after a long train ride without much expectations. (We’d been burned before.) Instead of middling dishes, each dish exceeded all hopes! This restaurant is easily one of the top two vegan restaurants, top five restaurants period, we’ve ever gone to. While he definitely enjoyed it more than me, (I have a nut allergy), we both left satisfied and elated with our food. I had the hot chocolate with oat milk, the Bang Bang Cauliflower, the Soup of the Day, the gnocchi without cheese, the fries and the Berry and Lavender Crumble. My brother had the Soup of the Day, the Mac and Cheese, the Black Bean and Mushroom Burger, the Sweet potato fries, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Each dish ranged from an excellent delight to astoundingly delicious. We would definitely give it all our recommendations!!!!

Plenty of veggies on the menu - Edit
Came back for dinner after enjoying breakfast here a decade ago. We enjoyed a starter and our meals. Had no room for desserts, but saw people on another table enjoy a lovely looking Tiramisu. I like that the menu includes lots of veggies and not full of meat replacements. Would definitely come here again-for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I was passing through Bath and this was the only vegan place open at 9am. What a treat! Best turmeric latte I've ever had. Lovely, filling breakfast and the peanut square we took on the road was scrummy at lunchtime.

A real find. Conveniently located. Excellent vegan options. We shared a Aubergine ribs, which were really interesting, and a warm veg salad with puy lentils. Both delicious. Followed with cake / crumble and coffee. Excellent selection of vegan beer and wine. The Apricot sour was heavenly!

We had a lovely meal here today, so glad we found it! Makes a change from fast food 😃. The hot salad was delicious and even had a new vegetable (celeriac!). My partner had the Caesar salad and he loved it too. The bang bang cauliflower was to die for.

Read moreI went for the monster breakfast and every part of it was so yummy, my friend has the spinach, mushroom, cashew on toast dish and also said it was incredible!! Everything was clearly marked for gluten free diets also.
The cafe is on a corner and you can sit on a little table looking out on the beautiful view of bath!! It also has outdoor seating and the service is really, really good! Will definitely be returning!!

In a city which isn't lacking in vegan options, this place is up there with the best. In the few years since my previous visit, they have really upped their game. It has always been great, but now, not only are they fully vegan, but the quality and presentation of the food has gone up a notch, without being pretentious. The restaurant has an airy, welcoming atmosphere. We went for the full vegan breakfast. All the elements were very tasty; portobello mushroom, sausage, scrambled tofu, beans, greens, bubble & squeak, tomato and toast. It was all complemented by the excellent home made ketchup and brown sauce.

Fully vegan now and all food so tasty, great prices, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and seasonal local food served. Central Bath location so easy to stop in when in the town, love coming here for a great meal/snack.
