Fabulous food….however - Edit
2nd attempt at going to this place. First time they said they were shutting early despite still showing normal hours outside!??? When we did get to try it out, we waited over 20 mins to be served. Waitress was sadly unfriendly and slightly bolshy. The food however was fantastic!! That said I really can’t say it was great value for money as portion size was on the small side!! We actually felt a bit ripped off!Great for vegans but they do need to up their game!!

Good food but slow service - Edit
I did enjoy the food here. It was tasty yet didn't taste unhealthy which was a big plus. Even the salad on the side tasted good. The main reason for 3* is the slow service. We were there for about 1 and a half hours for lunch on a Thursday (2 course meal). There wasn't any apology offered or even acknowledgement of the substantial wait time. The food wasn't served hot enough either but given how long we had waited we didn't want to send it back. The menu is a bit pricy too given the portion sizes e.g. burger doesn't come with fries. Minor point but the bread served with the soup had the paper label still on it - minor but feels like a lack of attention to detail. Overall I'm just bit dissapointed if I'm completely honest given the other reviews and perhaps we just got unlucky.

Delicious, popular but small portions - Edit
This is a lovely cafe with really excellent food, a varied menu, great staff and a lovely atmosphere. The menu is regularly updated and is very inventive with clever vegan replacements for classic dishes (eg we had a vegan Mac n’ cheese).
Read moreMy only criticisms would be that the portions are quite small and since the cafe also does take-out, the door opens regularly and so the front room can be quite draughty.
Pros: Great menu , Excellent staff
Cons: Can be cold

I visited today with vegan and non vegan family members - we all loved it! We had the macaroni cheese and nut roast. Both dishes were fantastic and service was fab! 🫶🏼 Will definitely be back soon!

Great fully vegan café. - Edit
Had breakfast here one day and lunch the next. Fab, tasty and (hurray!) not greasy breakfast. Lunch the next day was Beetroot Fritters, Caesar salad, tandoori king oyster mushrooms, and for dessert a good biscoff tiramisu and also genuinely the best crumble I’ve ever eaten - perfectly balanced sweetness and acidity, with an underlying note of lavender and chewy little pecan clusters. Wonderful stuff! We had several starters as tapas but there are also full meals. Highly recommend.

Amazing food!! - Edit
I absolutely loved the Caesar salad, it was just amazing! We also tried the bang bang cauliflower which was delicious. There were so many options here that I would love to try. The cafe itself is very airy and was just lovely to sit there on a sunny day people-watching out of the window, great spot!

Passing through Bath on our way to London, Green Rocket was a pleasant surprise! Green Rocket’s menu was varied and well thought out, with some crowd pleasers, and some options for those with more adventurous tastebuds. While the rest of the city of Bath was rather touristy, we felt right at home here, with a cosy, casual atmosphere, and stylish decor. The food was tasty, impressing my non-vegan boyfriend (an experienced veggie pro) and his usually apprehensive family very much so.

Very well visited cafe with a nice variety of vegan dishes. I especially enjoyed the bang bang cauliflower! The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, maybe they need some extra hands on busy days.

I had the Katsu Curry and it was delicious! Definitely recommend. The place itself was cozy, very close to Bath Abbey and the Pulteney Bridge. The staff seemed a bit stressed, but other than that everything was great.

Excellent choices and great flavors. Loved the coconut bacon and tempeh for a hearty lunch. The chef was yelling at the wait staff when I walked by the kitchen on the way to the restroom - a little off-putting.

Unimaginative and slow - Edit
We had the black bean burger and the Macaroni Cheeze with roasted cauliflower and broccoli (though with very little of either), and swapped, to no great advantage. The chips arrived 20 minutes before the burger and were cold by the time it arrived. The Mac Cheeze wasn't exactly improved by slices of tofu bacon. Isn't it time that vegans and vegetarians were offered a bit more than endless imitations of meat? I mean, Indians have only been cooking vegetarian dishes for thousands of years - maybe we could learn from them?
