Every town should have a Green Parrot. - Edit
We visited on a windy, wet autumn Saturday. Having struggled to find light-lunch in a seemingly vegan unfriendly Swaffham we happened across this gem. Did they do lunch, no! But that was soon forgotten because it is an Aladdin’s Cave of ethical shopping. All sorts of vegan, ethical-fair-trade and ecological household goods and food under one roof. They also have a whole room of plastic-free refill stations. We didn’t buy much as we have our own wonderful store in our home town. But The Green parrot and it’s lovely, friendly proprietor was a delightful find.

Plastic-free room! - Edit
Love this shop. Not only do they have a vast selection of vegan goods on sale, but they have a dedicated room for plastic-free shopping where you can take tour own containers to buy dried foods, cleaning fluids, etc.
