Great vegan food and lifestyle market. - Edit
I mainly went for the food part of it. You get plenty of options to choose from.
Read moreThe market is beautifully located at the river with an enormous lounge area to enjoy your food & drinks.
There are also some nice clothing, lifestyle and other stalls - ideal for a bit of gift shopping.
My highlights of the day were a banana/chocolate pancake and a freshly pressed orange, lime (+something I forgot) juice I bought right before leaving....superyummy.

vegan paradise - Edit
the only 100% vegan street food market in Berlin! it’s vibrant, positive and alternative. This year the location is Holzmarkt - directly by the spree! The vibes are always so good, cool music, cool people and food that makes you come back for more and more! There are also vintage and lifestyle stalls, so something for everyone!

Small but good for foodies - Edit
I went to Vegan Sundays on the 9th of April and it was only a small market and mostly food so if you are hoping to buy things to take home it's probably not your scene. They did have a few stalls – a couple of clothes stands, a couple of juice stands, and a stand selling candles but aside from that it was all food. They had a great range including pizza, burgers, gyros, cookies, mac and cheese, burritos, ice cream, crêpes and super food bowls. They also had two bars selling alcohol.
Read moreIt was very busy when we went and I would recommend going early as we turned up right at the start and within half an hour there were long queues at all of the food stalls. There's also a fair bit of seating but again because it's so busy it does fill up fast. We got to sit in a lovely spot by the water and eat the food and drink ciders in the sunshine which was really lovely.
Pros: Great range of delicious food, Lovely spot by the river, Two bars for alcoholic drinks

Mixed experience across different markets - Edit
I think this is such a nice concept, and it must take such a long time to organise. Each one is so different depending on the location and the vendors involved. The ones a few years ago were better because the locations were nicer, there were more food trucks, and more vendors. As you have to pay for entry, the quantity in previous markets made the experience better. Corona certainly had a negative affect on it but even before that, I had a feeling the earlier iterations were nicer. Either way, the fact that this exists is awesome and I have nought some really nice stuff here. The workshops are also a great idea.

The concept is great - Edit
I had planned to go to one of the markets for a while, but wasn’t able to due to conflicts with other obligations. So when I was finally able to visit, I was a bit disappointed. The concept for the market is great, however, we went on a Saturday afternoon, there were few customers there (so I felt for the store owners).....maybe the other days were cranking? There also were not that many stalls, considering the 5euro entrance fee. Again, maybe I just went in the wrong day?

Cons: A bit on the quiet side for stalls?

Worth a visit - Edit
I love it because you can experience the Berlin vegan scene in quite a short amount of time (great if you're travelling). Since you'll be able to see the who's who of Berlin here, you'll be able to get a pretty good taste of what being vegan in Berlin is about.

Cosy festival for those who want to discover vegan food - Edit
I think this is a great place for those who are new to vegan movement and want to try both food and hear a bit ideas of producers and small startup crafts(wo)men. But of course there are things to be discovered for old veggies as well.
Read moreFor me I got to test
* the famous Berliner Vöner
* sicilian street food Arancino!
* Polish professional vegan cheese
* Great ice cream
Pros: Easy and friendly festival for everyone, good for those wanting to discover veg, most vendors are small startups with energy!

Selection of great food, no programme - Edit
There was so much to try and eat, I recommend to come several times. - There were also other stalls, cosmetics, information etc. but there was no programme or such and as I came alone, I left once I had eaten as much as I managed. If you come with friends, you will stay longer. - There could have been more seating.

Cons: Not much seating, Only stalls

More than a market! - Edit
This vegan paradise is every 3 months and from my experience, it gathers some of the best vegan independent traders from Berlin and beyond. From scrumptious soul food to healthy juices, I literally can't move I eat so much - yes those donuts are bloody good.
Read moreBut that's not all, there's vegan fashion, beauty products, live music and for families there's also a 'kids club' with a play area and other kid DIY stuff. I saw on Facebook that this Autumn the GMB will also be screening a must see doc, 'Cowspiracy'. A film about the impacts of animal agriculture to the environment. A nice touch!
The Green Market is made with love by vegans but not just for vegans, in fact I always bring my carnivore friends and they are always pleasantly surprised not just by the food but by the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Located now in the arty and cool neighborhood, Neükolln (my personal fav hood). It's nestled within a stunning looking warehouse at an old beer factory and is both indoor and outdoor (mainly food trucks). 2 euro entrance is fair enough, kids can enter free and dogs are allowed. Bravo!

Well organised and fun market - Edit
It's so refreshing an all vegan market has emerged in Berlin. The Green Market brings together food stalls, market stalls and the vegan community in a nice environment.
Read moreI think I've been about 4 times and each time I've had a fun and relaxing time. Kids and dogs are welcome. There's also live music and cookery demos. It's also not super commercial, which is one of the things I really like about it.
I really like how it brings together a great variety of food, including raw and treats like the tasty vegan donuts.
I'd highly recommend the Green Market to vegans, those curious about veganism or anybody who wants to enjoy a chilled market vibe.
One last thing, make sure you go on an empty stomach!
