Read moreHaving tried most things on the menu, I'm yet to find something that really inspires. It's ok, just not wow. For me it's ok as a go-to given that there aren't many solely vegan options in the Walthamstow area, although isn't as tasty as other vegan places in East London.
Part of the wider Crate venue, so seating is informal indoor/outdoor communal style which means you can mix and match with food and drinks from the other outlets at Crate. Useful if you're eating with non-vegan friends who don't fancy eating vegan.

First time visit. Would go again. Had the classic dawg which came in a beetroot bun and some Cajun fries. Excellent flavour all round and really great texture from the hot dog and bun. Relaxed, family friendly shared eating and drinking space outside.

Super friendly business that I've been to may times over the last few years first time being in 2017. These guys never disappoint with their creativity and presentation with flavours and textures to match. Brilliant place to visit at St James Crate in Walthamstow or catch them at many other vegan events such as vegan nights. Food and service always on point. Also check out their social media as they hold lots of vegan lifestyle events at their permanent home in Walthamstow.

Really good food. Been there 3 times in 1 month. Nice staff who are always very helpful and chatty. I have had the Hotdog and mightymeaty. Their "mozzarella" sticks and fries are amazing aswell.

This food tastes SOOO GOOD 😊 And it actually is quite filling so I felt I got my money's worth 🤣 It's not over priced either. I went here last week with some friends and we actually tried one of everything on there menu. Theres like 5 items to choose from including 3 whooping burgers 🍔 I think there was 2 V-dawgs 🌭 and some popcorn Chikn style chunks! 🍗

Been visiting the green grill for about half a year at various festivals/markets so so happy to see they have their own permanent place now. Amazing new menu addition is the crispy Chkn, had it with buffalo sauce and garlic mayo.

Super tasty wonderfully colourful burger. It leaned towards falafel but still had plenty of burger characteristics. Beautifully presented with all the trimmings. I prefer it to the impossible burger that I recently had in the USA. The guys who run it were very enthusiastic and friendly.

Although slightly of beaten track of the market. The extra 50m walk is 150% worth it 😁 the two guys have only just launched this 3 weeks ago but feel like they have been doing it for years. They were so welcoming and catered too all of my needs (even running to get extra seating for me even though there was a very big que) now let’s get started on the food! The burgers were amazing... I feel like the standard for vegan fast food is unhealthy and deep fried. Not these guys - the green monster is made of broccoli, sun dried tomatoe s, peas and spinach so I’m defo getting some of my 5 a days. Plus it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted that included pre vegan times as well. They said something about turning this location into a cafe in the new year with a container and I generally can’t wait. Good luck guys!!!!
