The service is always great, a bit of a wait when it's very busy, but that always gives me a good chance to browse the attached supermarket.

Read moreHave been here many times over the years and never had a bad meal. There’s a huge variety of meals to choose from, from salads to sandwiches, pasta, lasagna, burgers and more. Prices are reasonable and portions are BIG. Also has takeaway pastries and sweets at the counter. They renovated the restaurant not too long ago and have an even bigger seating area now, either inside, or out the front on the nice breezy deck.
Plus the vegan grocery store has probably the best range in Brisbane.
Extra bonus points for being in an inner-city-yet-somewhat-suburban location with easy parking, it has its own car park and if that’s full there’s always street parking nearby.
Pros: best in Brisbane for all things vegan, great food & lovely staff, convenient location

It’s been over a year since I visited this cafe and was delighted to discover they’ve expanded their cafe seating area. The menu offerings were impressive, and the cake and sweets cabinet were fabulous. The carbonara dish was really creamy delicious and I can highly recommend the blueberry and white chocolate blondie. Having acquired (and moved the seating outside and next door, has freed up the shop space to enable more stock and offerings. So impressed with the range of store products that I’ll be making this my grocery store.

I absolutely love the Green Edge. As a fussy Vegan foodie I dine out at least once a week somewhere awesome. TGE does an epic Brekky Mockmuffin, tasty Vegan poached eggs, my favourite Oat Mochas and the buffalo wings are to die for. And genuinely there is not enough space to rattle on about their amazing cakes *drool*.

The completely vegan menu is amazingly extensive, and they have some gluten free options too! I've eaten here more times than I can count, but THE stand out menu item is 100% the vegan chicken and waffles. So awesome. The vegan mcmuffin is also worthy of a mention. The cafe is also attached to a small vegan supermarket with all your vegan needs, and it also has a little baked goods section with things like fresh lamingtons and pies etc.

Boasting a big menu of vegan comfort food, from huge epic burgers to fluffy pancakes with ice cream, you may have a hard time choosing just one dish. Be sure to get one of their milkshakes or frappe to go with the meal. Their fridge next to the cafe also has a wide range of cakes and sweets.
Stop by their shop section to stock up on vegan goodies. Other than groceries, they also carry makeup, house supplies, and even shoes, recipe books and more.

When my girlfriend and I were traveling we came here almost every weekend as a regular date night because the food was on another level.. there was always so many options to chose from and new items added to the menu all the time! It has a mini supermarket inside too, so great to take things home at the end. They have everything you can think of, sweet and savoury on the counters. We always took a cupcake home because they were the best! They have shakes, coffees, teas, take out or dine in. Can’t fault the place. Book in advance for the weekend as can get busy.
