I had the korean pork bbq bowl, which was sensational. My partner kept stealing from it.

The ham and pineapple pizza was okay. The strawberry frappe was also just okay.
The meals were extremely filling and great for long time vegans and new vegans. Highly recommend.

my favorites are the cheesecake, the skewers from the deli grilled, the peach passionfruit drink (almost like a bubble tea like experience with the passion fruit seeds). i love buying candy and other groceries. super convenient!!

One stop shop for vegans - Edit
Love this place restaurant has great food, grocery store has a fantastic selection, the deli and ice cream section are such a cool addition. Also decent sweet cabinet and nice mix of savoury pies.

Gluten Free Bread is very bad - Edit
I like The Green Edge, however, as someone who’s gluten free, I’ve been pretty disappointed lately. Last week I tried their GF burger bun and it was so thick and tough, I ended up removing the top. Today I tried their GF pizza base and it was honestly the worst I’ve ever had - extremely dry, thick, and crumbly. I’ve had better from Woolworths.

Read moreI had lunch here and enjoyed every bit of it. I got the Green Juice and added turmeric. And to eat I got the vegan lasagna with the miso salad side.
The portions were huge and they gave me lots of water as well. The drinks and the food were very tasty and well seasoned. I am overly stuffed.
I also went to the grocery store to pick up snacks for my hotel room. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations for food to try. Next time I'm going to try the Vegan Fried Chicken (VFC).
You pay inside at the grocery counter and it helps if you know your table number, but they can find your order too.
This place is super easy to get to by bus which makes it super easy to access as a tourist.

Ordered their 4 piece with a beetroot late. 4 fried chiken pieces, mashed potatoes, gravy, and coleslaw. The chix was the star of the show with a wonderful coating that brought me back to the Deep South. Every thing else was lovely like the key backup singers that bring a song together. You can’t help but love pairing all combinations of flavors into a single bite. My first time with a beetroot late so I will reserve judgment except to say it was quite enjoyable, a mild sweetness that never rang of sugar. A solid beverage to remind you to take your time and enjoy the meal. Service was quite rapid, friendly and casual. I was stunned by the speed that everything came out. Their outdoor seating area was lively on a warm Brisbane day as the weather changed to a quick hard rain and breeze. Dog friendly.
