Read moreI had lunch here and enjoyed every bit of it. I got the Green Juice and added turmeric. And to eat I got the vegan lasagna with the miso salad side.
The portions were huge and they gave me lots of water as well. The drinks and the food were very tasty and well seasoned. I am overly stuffed.
I also went to the grocery store to pick up snacks for my hotel room. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations for food to try. Next time I'm going to try the Vegan Fried Chicken (VFC).
You pay inside at the grocery counter and it helps if you know your table number, but they can find your order too.
This place is super easy to get to by bus which makes it super easy to access as a tourist.

Ordered their 4 piece with a beetroot late. 4 fried chiken pieces, mashed potatoes, gravy, and coleslaw. The chix was the star of the show with a wonderful coating that brought me back to the Deep South. Every thing else was lovely like the key backup singers that bring a song together. You can’t help but love pairing all combinations of flavors into a single bite. My first time with a beetroot late so I will reserve judgment except to say it was quite enjoyable, a mild sweetness that never rang of sugar. A solid beverage to remind you to take your time and enjoy the meal. Service was quite rapid, friendly and casual. I was stunned by the speed that everything came out. Their outdoor seating area was lively on a warm Brisbane day as the weather changed to a quick hard rain and breeze. Dog friendly.

I looked at the breakfast menu (breakfast finishes at 11) and decided immediately that I wanted something sweet. The savoury options looked amazing though so it was a hard choice. I decided on the French toast and a soy cappuccino (soy is their default). My partner had the breakfast burger and an iced chocolate.
Read moreThe French toast was a generous serve with cream and a huge scoop of ice cream. The fruit was lovely and it came with a jug of maple syrup. This was delicious, flavours worked well. My cappuccino was well made and large meant large.
My partner enjoyed the burger a lot and liked the iced chocolate too.
Staff were lovely. Tables both inside and outside. It’s a lovely area.
We then went to the vegan grocery. It was well stocked and well priced. I am very jealous of Brisbane! I only bought some chocolate because it was hot in Brisbane and I would loved to have bought some more things.
Excellent cafe and fully vegan.
Easy to get to. Take the train to Windsor from anywhere in the centre.

Fantastic food, the origin burger and chips were exceptional and the PB&J smoothie was delicious. The Vego brownie was incredible too. Will be back to try some more of their menu very soon.
