4.5 stars if i could - Edit
If I was able, I would do 4.5 stars because we had an okay experience. Their menu online is outdated and incorrect. We also did not get the friendliest staff member when we went. She didn’t smile or say much to us. Disappointed that they didn’t have what we wanted on the menu, but luckily they had other options and outdoor seating. Still giving 5 stars cuhz we loved the food and think it could be a more positive experience in the future. Overall would come back here. Lucked out for the soup of the day as we love our Indian food!

I had the green juice and my husband had the Blue Majic smoothie. Both were delicious. The Hemp protein balls were also very good. We are here on vacation but will be going back again before going home.

I come here Every-time I am in VA beach. Everything is delicious - the Avocado Toast with cashew pesto is sooooo good. They have cute stuff to shop also.

Read moreI got the soup of the day, which was veggie and it was good. Tasted healthy, not much salt or seasonings or anything. Just veggies in a slightly creamy broth.
They have desserts brought in my vegan bakeries, they had a variety of muffins, pumpkin pie, cakes, protein balls. I got a pumpkin cheesecake swirl blondie by My Vegan Sweet Tooth.
They no longer have the soft serve machine so that menu option is not available.
Also got some of their bottled lemonades, which were good- not too sweet, just how I like it.
They have a section that has jewelry, water bottles, face masks, and other wares that would make nice gifts.

Hubs and I went and got the Southwest Salad, Pink Pitaya Lemonade, Strawberry Crisp Toast and the Fountain of Youth smoothie. Everything was tasty but be prepared to spend quite a bit. The cafe was absolutely beautiful though and had outdoor seating.

I love how many healthy options this place has, and it was right next to our hotel! We got the açaí and pitaya bowls. Pitaya with strawberries instead of pineapple. They’re pretty good, nothing special, but nice and clean!

The is place is amazing! Delicious smoothies and salads and juices! They also carry baked goods from My Vegan Sweet Tooth! The staff is so friendly too! The oatmeal and toasts I’ve had are good too! I’ve been here several times and never had a bad experience!

All the food here is vegan. The only non-vegan option is half and half for the coffee. Had some great oatmeal and a muffin with coffee ( almond milk thank you very much!!). Nice tables to eat inside and out.
Read moreGreen Cat has two other things going for it. 1) It opens at 7Am. Breakfast yeah!! 2) they are on the beach road a walking distance from many hotels. So I just avoid a place whose vegan choices are left to interpretation and walk down the street to a fine vegan eatery!!
They also have a nice little store where they sell my favorite Peppermint Patties of all time ( shout out to Clean Conscious!!) #Veganuary

All the food we had was fresh and delicious (avocado toast with creamy pesto, jackfruit corn chowder, and CBD fudge), albeit pricey! However, if you're looking to get the most bang for your buck then look no further than the oat milk soft serve. You get 8 oz for $5 and it is AMAZING! I got the pumpkin pie/vanilla swirl (early October) and it is some of the best non-dairy ice cream I've had. They first let me try a sample cup (which was huge) and so my husband finished that off for me!
Read moreThe outdoor patio where we ate is SO cute! It looks like a greenhouse and is very spacious and peaceful. The free parking and wheelchair accessibility is a stellar 10/10. We love that the location is near the boardwalk too! It's so convenient!
We will absolutely be back! So grateful to have an organic, whole-food plant-based to go to while on vacation. Since it's tough to travel with our Vitamix we will certainly consider getting our organic morning smoothies here!

I absolutely love the green cat! I don't live in Hampton Roads anymore but I try to stop by when I visit home. I love visiting on the weekend - grabbing raw vegan food and taking it to the beach, just a block away. The gingerbread smoothie around the holidays is beyond delicious. The kale salad is perfection. I love everything I've tried. Also love their little shop. I bought a bracelet from there that I wear most days.

Ordered the Mother Earth which was delicious. My fiancé ordered the Sippin on Zen which was also great. We split the Green Goddess Toast which we also enjoyed but was missing the microgreens, very tiny, and definitely not worth $13 at all. Overall a nice clean breakfast.

We have been coming here during our annual beach vacation for years. It never disappoints and is a great chance to eat some real food after days of junk. I was bummed to see today that they seem to have taken the No Chix Salad off of their menu as that was my go to. Today I tried the Kale Caesar Salad and it hit the spot though! I also had a DELICIOUS Strawberry Crisps Toast. So Yummy!

I got the Blue Majik smoothie and the Cherry Chia oatmeal, and both were great! I love how all the options are vegan and they have such a great variety. They were understaffed and experiencing a large customer volume, but were very kind and apologetic. Overall, a great place that I would recommend!

i was traveling through virginia with my bf and we stopped here because of the cute name! inside i saw they had the most WONDERFUL selection of plant based smoothies and foods, i was even more excited. we are from the new england area and we go to smoothie/açaí places all of the time together and this was one of the best places we have EVER BEEN. i tried their pumpkin spice smoothie and it was to die for, i will be returning next trip 🧡
