I bought main meals and cake twice from this vendor in Ambleside. He was the most helpful and friendly man imaginable and the food was delicious; I had a bean chilli and a sweet potato burger which was also a big hit with the meat-eaters. The cakes were simple and tasty though not huge slices. The van takes your paper plates back and saves your trekking miles to the nearest bin. There are also free dog biscuits on the counter so, er, be careful you don't eat one...
