Vegan restaurant opened Jan '22 which uses predominantly non-GMO, organic and sustainable produce. Menu includes breakfast toast, pancakes, baked oats, toasties, smaller plates, toasties, sharers and build your own bowls. Also has a range of freshly made daily cakes, muffins, cookies and raw desserts. Drinks include coffees, teas, chai, shakes, smoothies, kombucha, beers and organic and vegan wines. Reported closed November 2022.

Lovely family-run vegan cafe - Edit
I really loved this little vegan cafe in the heart of Fitzroy. The family and staff that run this place are so nice and welcoming. The food is simple and very tasty. The coffee is so good I had 2!

The service however… no hello, no goodbye and when we asked for a milkshake the girl serving us said sorry staff shortages we can’t make them, then proceeded to sit at one of the tables on her phone for half an hour 😵💫

So sorry Derek. We were down a critical staff member in the kitchen due to having to have urgent surgery so everyone was under the pump. No excuse for the poor service, however, I don’t believe it’s legal to not give staff members at least a half hour break especially if they started work at 4am and don’t finish until 5pm. Glad you enjoyed the food and drink. Apologies again for the less than acceptable service, we are well known for our excellent and friendly service so it was disappointing to hear.

I ordered Mac n cheese (it was beautiful) my milkshake was lovely, my partner and I also ordered berry pancakes.. he was sad that there was no strawberries on it haha, he didn’t love them as they tasted a bit too healthy (the pancakes themselves) .. I agree they tasted a bit healthy.. i guess it was a little disappointing because we’d seen a previous photo of them that was topped in fairy floss and ours didn’t have that 🤣
I should have gone with the biscoff ones, think I would have preferred them. Plenty more food and deserts on the menu/in the cabinet that I wanted to try, but I was too full ! Will definitely return

100% Vegan Welcoming & Friendly space - Edit
If you’re looking for a beautiful space to catch up with friends and whilst slowly grazing on vegan food, this place is it (or alone, like me) I have been 2 times now; and my favourite thing I ate was The Meatballs. They don’t come with anything but was suggested to add toast, and it was such a delicious and satisfying meal, perfect for the coming cooler months… it’s right near my uni and so, I look forward to visiting each week.

Delicious sweet treats and drinks - Edit
19/3/22 i have returned for breakfast because I wanted to try the pancakes and I was not disappointed. They looked pretty, tasted nice and were filling. I liked the biscoff crumb with the chocolate, not too sweet either. We sat outside.
Read moreIt was lovely to find a new vegan cafe open. This week it is serving sweets and drinks but will have a full menu from mid next week at this stage. I’d just check Instagram to find their open hours and what they are serving.
I asked for a large coffee and the coffee is large! Hooray. We chose to eat in and had a milkshake and a couple of cakes. The cafe is really nice and there are seats inside and outside.
I enjoyed all the food and the staff were really nice.

This place has the Fitzroy vegan aesthetic down pat with their interior design. More importantly, it has great food that seemed fresh and were tasty. The menu seemed to only have pancakes mainly but they do have some day to day specials.

I came here a little hungover on the first day the cafe was serving its full menu. The decor is very not Brunswick street with its fabrics, flowers and muted tones. I think they got busier than expected so initially we thought we’d just get an iced coffee (as it was a stinking hot day), but things quietened down and we were able to order lunch. We went for the spaghetti and meatballs and the Buddha burger. The burger was delicious. I’m not sure whether it was a Beyond patty but it had a lovely nutty taste, whereas normally I find those patties a bit cardboardy. The spaghetti was fine although the sauce was quite thick and maybe the meatballs were a bit too heavy for the state I was in. Normally I’d have made short work of it, even though serving sizes were decent. Luckily, this place is in my neighbourhood, so I’ll be back very soon to try more menu items while in a slightly fresher state. #Veganuary
