So Many Good Options - Edit
The extended family went for brunch, we were all very happy. Everything was delicious. We had nachos, quesadilla and chilaquiles with red sauce. All great, particularly the chilaquiles. My wife and I shared the veggie crepe and the tofu and cheese crepe, both outstanding especially with the homemade hot sauce they have. I tried my sons waffle with fruit, amazing. The tofu scramble looked delicious as did the sausage pasta my niece got. My other niece got tacos that were plated beautifully and she said we’re good. I have had the pico crepe before and was amazing. My younger son had the chocolate crepe, demolished it so I think it was good. My in-laws had the grain crepe which they enjoyed. Will definitely come again

¡Abierto para el desayuno! - Edit

Huge menu made well - Edit
This place has a huge menu with so many options! I ended up getting the 2 Cheese Crepe and a Latte. The latte was okay, nothing special. The crepe was pretty amazing! The hot sauce is unique, delish, and HOT. I can't wait to come back and try something else.

Could have been better - Edit
We might have been here on an off day! The service for brunch was quite slow despite there only being one other table with people in the restaurant. We found our food to be a bit boring and bland. My partner didn’t enjoy the coffee. I might give it another chance to try something different from their menu.

Wonderful small business to support - Edit
I have been coming here for years and it is one of the best vegan restaurants in LA. My favorite thing to order is the chilaquiles. The staff are wonderful as well. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Great Place - Edit
April 2014: First time there, we came for breakfast and they open at 8am on Sunday. We had Tofu Scramble with mushrooms and kale, and Huevos con Chorizo. Cafe de olla was great too! Everything tasted fresh and yummy. We will be back for sure.

I got the the breakfast burrito and it was good enough, but a bit bland. Not somewhere I’d return again probably.

Great spot for dine-in and takeout - Edit
I’ve had many breakfasts, dinners, desserts, and even drinks from this place over the years. Always tasty and big enough for leftovers. The restaurant itself is pretty relaxed with cute decor and nice servers, and it has a full bar. I’ve never seen it packed, but they do seem to keep busy with take-out. Definitely try this place out!

Limitless Options! - Edit
All organic and all amazing dishes being served at this cozy cafe. There were plenty of options and I was stuck between several choices. Other members in my party had the same issue! We finally ordered and no one was dissapointed. I built my own bowl and it came out amazing. The marinated tempeh was the highlight. Definitely recommended for any meal of the day whenever you're craving it.

Why did I wait so long to come here?! - Edit
I should have tried this place ages ago, but so glad I finally did. Came in at opening after a pretty long road trip and got exactly what I needed. The breakfast burrito had the perfect ratio of egg, potato, cheese and meat and the house made hot sauce is bangin. Can’t wait to come back.

Best Fajitas Ever - Edit
First time here, but I hope to return soon. So much to choose from! I went with chicken fajitas, was not disappointed. The chicken and veggies were served on a sizzling plate as fajitas are. But it was more like a stew, tomato based. Thin sliced avocado on top, black beans and Spanish rice on a separate plate. Very mild, next time will add some of the house made hot sauce. Friendly service, fast kitchen crew.

Tres Leches Cake 🍰 - Edit
I always get either the Oaxacan tlayudas, chilaquiles, or sweet crepes, and usually, their tres leches cake for dessert. Best staff ever. The Grain Cafe is my go-to whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

Love - Edit
The whole experience at the Grain is ace. This location especially is painted vibrantly and the staff are adorable. Food options here are endless: sandwiches, salad, pizza, breakfast, but my favorite is their Oaxacan specialties. Pro tip: buy a bottle of their homemade hot sauce.
