Great Vegan Breakfast - Edit
Extensive menu including lots of breakfast food. I’ve had the oatmeal and the Tufu Scramble, both very good.

Good food! - Edit
When I went, they had a B rating for their cleanliness, however. Make of that what you will. I enjoyed the food though!

Surprised! - Edit
I passed the one in LBC for years and visiting a friend in Culver we decided to go in to this location. I always thought it would be a totally “granola” health food joint and was delighted with cakes and Mexican food. There are a few other options to round out the menu so there’s something for everyone. (I went to the LBC spot after this one; I liked dessert at this one better!) I had the Chile Relleno and it was perfect

Extensive menu and delicious food - Edit
I’ve been to The Grain Café multiple times, and I am always pleased with what I order. There is so many options, but my favorite is the Breakfast Burrito and Wet Burrito. I would eat here everyday.

Finally a menu you have difficulty choosing from - Edit
The largest menu ever in a vegan restaurant. We got some sushi, a tofu scramble and a chicken wrap and everything tasted amazing. The green smoothie was also creamy and not too sweet, and the horchata had what looked like almonds in it and also tasted great.

Leiderside stop - Edit
Met my daughter for a late lunch, so the place was empty. We ordered Oaxacan food. The mole burrito was excellent. The traditional tlayuda was good, but the tortilla could have been a little crispier. Going back soon with friends.

Outstanding/ delicious - Edit
Amazing vegan organic menu with many salty and sweet choices from breakfast to dinner. We had a hard time choosing since there is so much choice and everything sounds amazing. Whatever we took was absolutely outstandingly delicious. And the staff so friendly. We are sad we are just here for a day and won't be able to return more often.

I’ve been here multiple times and it’s consistently good from the food to the service. Only downside is it’s a little expensive. I love their tofu scramble and breakfast crepes!

Excited to come back again - Edit
The food here was really good and I loved seeing items on the menu that I haven’t had since going vegan. They have a ton of Mexican food options that I feel really nostalgic for. I was especially excited by some of the breakfast food options since very customary breakfast food is hard to find vegan. They had huevos rancheros and more that I haven’t seen veganized anywhere else. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Not tres leches - Edit
So I loved the tempeh bacon, the egg bacon bagel was good. Tres leches was not tres leches tho. If ur looking for that super moist rich taste, it just tastes like regular cake. Four stars because I’m sure most of the food is delicious, just disappointing to think you’re getting full on tres leches.

🤔 - Edit
Came here to just hang with a friend and not eat, too expensive 😹 server rushed us 40 mins before closing. But the interior is really nice, better than other grain cafes :)

Tasty Mexican - Edit
Stopped here on my way to the Griffith observatory, and glad I did. I had the Oaxacan chilaquiles with salsa verde and a glass of horchata. Both were delicious and authentic. I even made room for a tasty slice of tres leches cake! Will stop by again when I’m in the area! #Veganuary

Loved it - Edit
The standout item for me was the tofu omelette, which had a great texture and was filled with perfectly cooked veggies. My fiancé had the tofu burrito which I tasted and was also delicious. It had a nice balance of flavors and a satisfying filling. We shared the pancakes which were fluffy and moist. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of the food at this restaurant and would definitely return for more. #Veganuary

Two cheese crepe is to die for - Edit
Drip coffee has cinnamon in it and is only 2.95 including oat milk. A latte is $4. My partner and I got the two cheese crepe which really exceeded expectations, and the grain crepe which was fresh and fruity and delicious also. We went on a Tuesday late morning with no wait.

Awesome menu, hoped for better execution - Edit
Love that this place is all vegan and they have such an expansive menu. I got the Huevos Rancheros and it was cold, cheese wasn’t melted and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The server was super nice but it felt like they just threw everything together on a plate. I would try again, because of other reviews and it being an all vegan place. Hoping I just caught them on an off day!
