The best soup kitchen - Edit
The Good Story is a fantastic social enterprise that aims to be sustainable, warm and welcoming. It provides good, well-priced food that contributes to community well-being as the soup you buy buys a soup for a disadvantaged person. All this was explained to me by the gregarious owner, Valeriya, along with her family's recipe for borscht, which was the soup of the day when I visited. I loved the cosiness of the bistro, and the food was great - a big bowl of vegan borscht (for only £7.00) with good sour-dough toast and vegan butter - but I love the concept and the aim as well. A wonderful place to be enjoyed and supported.
