Wonderful food and friendly server - Edit
The seitan Phillip was delicious. The Mac and shew was creamy and flavorful. I LOVED the Brussels sprouts. Nicole was very friendly and helpful. It is a relatively small place so food service can be a bit slow when busy but overall this place is wonderful. Highly recommended.

My favorite restaurant in FoCo - Edit
The Gold Leaf is one of my favorite restaurants ever, hands-down. I’ve been there probably 20 times and it rarely disappoints. I love their breakfast burrito, mushroom melt sandwich, curry, and pretty much everything else. They have a wide variety of options and flavors. The only issue I’ve had with the food is that when it’s really busy during dinner, the wait for your food can be ridiculous and the food has come out sub-par (HOWEVER, I’m not usually someone to complain at a restaurant, and when I said something about my meal, the server was beyond apologetic and compensated our entire meal and drinks). Overall it will always be my #1 choice for a place to eat in Fort Collins.

Amazing food! - Edit
Wow! Not only is the atmosphere and the warm welcome wonderful but the smothered fries, preamble panini with the beet salad, pulled bbq mushroom sandwich with Mac n shew are to die for! We are only in Fort Collins for the weekend but we are going back everyday to try as many items we can! Make sure to have a Rustic donut to finish off you meal!

So hard to choose what to get - Edit
The menu is so creative and everything looks incredible. If I lived in FoCo I might go broke from eating here all the time. My dad & I had the pickle plate starter, I got the lions mane buffalo wrap with mac & shew, and he got the seitan Philly with fries. I loved mine and it was enough that I saved half the wrap for breakfast. He is non-veg but loved his sandwich and thought they nailed the Philly taste. Beautiful small place, natural decor, lovely service.

I’ve gone 10+ times and the food never disappoints - Edit
This is a favorite of mine. My husband and I would drive an hour just to come here for dinner. We had 6 other couple friends try it out and they all said it was delicious and one of the best restaurants in the area plus none of them are vegan. The service is always great! And the food! The food is amazing!

Excellent service, great atmosphere - Edit
My cousin and I enjoyed a delicious meal at this cozy spot near CSU campus.
Read moreThe place was lit with Edison bulbs and decorated with a country chic decor.
She had the taco special. I had a "pulled" lions mane BBQ sandwich and fries. Lots of flavor! We split some roasted brussels sprouts. I had a local cucumber kombucha. Everything was presented in a timely way and our server was friendly and helpful.
The menu was breakfast and lunch. At 6 pm there was no change of menu but I'm guessing it would not be much of a stretch to offer dinner at least a few days a week.
Also, the only desserts were vegan donuts. That's kind of a let-down since there are lots of vegan dessert options in FoCo: it seems like they could partner with someone. My only other complaint would be that the front signage is difficult to see.
Pros: delicious selections, cute decor, great service
Cons: signage makes it tough to spot, dinner offerings are the same as lunch offerings, only desserts were donuts

Good but underwhelming - Edit
The Seitan Philly was delicious! My expectations were high after reading other reviews and unfortunately only the Philly lived up to the hype. The Mac and shew didn't have much cheese flavoring, more of creamy pasta. The bbq mushroom sandwich was good but not great and the maple donut was fine. Dipping Sauces were not good. French fries were under salted.
Read morePaid $45 total for 2 lunch entrees and a donut with tip. Portions were good. Overall, a good meal but just wasn't wowed with each item. Maybe I'll try something else next time.
Pros: All vegan, Unique mushrooms on menu
Cons: Need better dipping sauces, Mac and shew fairly bland

We were very impressed with this cozy Ft Collins restaurant. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with natural touches decorating the space. Their service was outstanding, very friendly and staff seem happy to be there. And the food was fabulous. An inviting regular menu and thoughtful seasonal specials. All sauces are housemade. Everything was delightful.

We ate here 3 times over the course of 3 days while in FOCO for our tattoo appointments. We are in love. We tried most things on the menu and were beyond thrilled with everything we had. The donuts are also bomb AF if you can snag one. We will continue to come here on each trip to FOCO.

I'm actually sitting in The Gold Leaf right now and loved the food so much I wanted to write a review before I forgot!
Read moreI had the buffalo cauliflower (as usual) and the tofu bahn mi with a side of mac and cheese (which they call "mac and shew" since it's cashew cheese).
I was here over lunch and had a lot of work to do, but the staff was great with helping me while I was on conference calls. The wifi is good, and there is parking in a paid lot next door. Enjoy!
Pros: Easy paid parking, Big menu, delicious mac and cashew cheese

The best flavors ever - Edit
I'm in love with the only 100% vegan restaurant in Fort Collins. Their Thai peanut bowl is wonderful. Their doughnuts are so wonderful! They also have the Silver Seed food truck that I've enjoyed once so far! Check them out! They are a little spendy but totally worth it. The mushroom melt is spectacular. The savory flavor is perfect with the meaty mushrooms 😍

Brought my family (two GF and vegan, two not) for lunch and we were all thrilled! I had the preamble on gf bread with the beet salad...so decadent and scrumptious! My daughter had the mushroom melt on gf bun that was also incredible! Big portion of perfectly cooked fries on the side. Got an order of GF Mac-n-shew to share which is the best ever! Definitely going back! Mouth is watering thinking about it!

The best vegan restaurant I've been to! - Edit
We drive from Denver to Ft. Collins just to eat at Gold Leaf. We've lived in Chicago, Seattle, and here and have tried most veg restaurants in those places. Gold Leaf is the best! Their cauliflower wings and the Dagwood sandwich will make you happy any day you have them. And be sure to get a container of their cashew cheese to go to make your own broccoli-cheez-rice at home.

So delicious! Such a beautiful happy place! - Edit
My wife and I love it here! Gorgeous botanical shapes arch over the table, beautifying the tables and window sills while diverse lighting gives the space a chill vibe which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the delicious food. Speaking of which, the menu changes with the seasons, making there always something I want to try. My wife and son LOVE the Mac n Shew and I have been enjoying any of their sandwiches made with their delicious focaccia (especially the Preamble & S.P.G.T.P.). If a wrap is more your speed, try the indulgent Buffalo Lions Mane Wrap, chocked full of meaty crisp fried mushrooms soaked in tart n spicy buffalo sauce and ranch with greens, tomatoes, and onion to balance it all perfectly. Then there are the decadent House Potatoes which are boiled/smashed/and fried to crunchy perfection and excellent with their house-made ketchup! Thank you Taylor and everyone who works here for bringing something so beautiful to Fort Collins!

A little pricey but supremely tasty - Edit
I stopped by on a Saturday evening to grab takeout. Their menu was overwhelming (in a good way) because they had so many amazing sounding sandwiches that I didn’t know which to pick. I ultimately opted for the lion’s po boy, as it was one of the most unique offerings. I love mushrooms of all kinds, and I can’t recall the last time I saw lion’s mane mushroom on a menu. It was really hearty and tasty. I also upgraded my side to the mac and shew, which was just okay as far as vegan mac goes, along with an order of buffalo cauliflower, which I really enjoyed. Overall, a great meal, albeit a little pricy. I’d be eager to try some of their other offerings next time I’m in town.
