Not good at all - Edit
It's not longer vegan. They took like an hour to serve us and we were the only two people in place. At the end the bring us my curry and it didn't have pumpkin or tofu (it says in the menu they were ingredients in the plate) and they didn't even let us know until we claimed it. We asked for discount and they didn't 10.000kip less . Once we tried the curry it was super salty so I couldn't eat more than a few spoons.
Read moreAlso we were waiting for my boyfriend's curry for half an hour (I had finished mine long ago) until we asked, they forgot it. After that we just left.
I would definitely not recommend this place. One of the worst places I've ever tried.

Hopefully you have some time... - Edit
Wanted to give 5 stars as I’m all about supporting an all vegan cafe, but cmon.... 2 plus hours waiting!! That seems almost impossible 😂 you really gotta cut some time out of your schedule if you want to eat here.
Read moreFood was refreshing compared to everything else we have had in Laos and the lady working was so very sweet!
We will not come back as it’s quite out of the way and well.... I simply don’t have the time! Haha

Tasty food! - Edit
We went there and the owner told us she couldn't cook cause she was sick. The next day it was ok but she only could cook some dishes. No many choices. So don't expect too much. The menu has changed (we downloaded it). It's really a slow food concept so only go there if you have time. We ordered at 11:40 and had to wait more than 1h30... And the owner only had to prepare 5 smoothies and our 2 dishes. But the food was amazing. It feels good to eat vegetables with flavors!

Unfortunately no food - Edit
We went there in anticipation of great vegan food, but unfortunately no food was served on that day, and no coffee. And they weren't planning on preparing food in the next days.

No food available? - Edit
Went there around 1PM, hungry after travelling to the island from Pakse and looking forward to a fully vegan restaurant in Laos! Unfortunately upon arrival I was told that they didn't serve food that day as the owner didn't go to the market😒When I asked about the upcoming days the lady just said no no so I left and opted for Jasmine instead and ate there throughout my stay on Don Det. I mean I totally understand the concept of living on an island and being dependent on someone that goes to the local market everyday but it still was a bit of a letdown

Beautiful location & good food! - Edit
This is ina lovely spot on the east side of Don Det, worth a bike ride over to! Has it's own private spot on a beach too.

Good food in record time! - Edit
The pumpkin burger was delicious and with the fries and salad, in my opinion, is fairly priced and certainly filling. The staff is also super super friendly. However, myself and two others ordered burgers which took a bit over two hours to arrive. No exaggeration. We are patient and content people so it was no big deal and you can tell much love went into making them but 2 hours is record time for me personally. If you're willing to wait go for it but do not give them a hard time. Think of it as not a restaurant but a friend just preparing you a meal in their home.

Nice setting with innovative vegan options - Edit
Really beautiful setting and has its own private beach for customers to enjoy. Had the infamous pumpkin burger starting at 30k kip, which was a nice change from all the fried rice but considering the price nothing extraordinary really... would have wished for more sauce as it gets a little dry with the veggies alone.

Pros: beautiful, quiet setting, everything made fresh to order

organic as well! - Edit
Almost everything is vegan. It's the only place that offers vegan pancakes on the 4000 islands. Pumpkin burger is delicious! Atmosphere is cozy and shakes great. Try the herb smoothie with fresh herbs from the garden! :)

Good relaxed place - Edit
This relaxed and ramshackle eatery sits alongside a dirt road in the fields of Don Det across from a pleasant stream.
Read moreThe delicious food is a mixture of Lao and Western, with many ingredients sourced directly from their garden. I enjoyed the homemade herb smoothie. It's also nice place to chill out in before or after a dip in the river nearby.

Big expectations - Edit
It´s a pretty place with very nice owner. We ordered two Big burger menus for all these great reviews, but honestly, we were disappointed. Fries were good, salad was excellent, burger bun was good also, but the burger itself was kind of tastless and deep fried mixture of pumpkin( ?) and probably bread crumbs ( not sure ). It´s expensive for Lao standards and it takes ages to be prepared (but it´s written everywhere, so you have to be prepared :-) ).
Read moreWe had also fruit shakes, Nang doesn´t use ice so they came surprisingly warm - but good.
Pros: Nice staff, nice place, I would taste more salads, they looked very good, The only pure vegetarian restaurant around
Cons: Burger wasn´t that good, Warm fruit shake

It is a bit more pricey than a normal curry next door but definitely worth it, as it is cooked on spot and most of it organic.
The place is lovely as the people are. Definitely worth going there!
