Housemade Pasta in Traverse City - Edit
The Flying Noodle lands in the quaint downtown Traverse City to bring homemade noodles in a modern setting. Make sure to book a reservation because The Flying Noodle is a happening, if not a little tight, place on the weekend.
Read moreThey offer two dishes that can be made vegan. I choice the vegan pesto pasta. I was a light, springy noodle with that deep and slightly nutty taste of pasta. It was great to have a pesto dish, being that it is difficult to find vegan pesto. It was a tasty dish that was a elegant option for an evening at the restaurant.
Unfortunately, The Flying Noodle does not have any vegan appetizer or dessert options which hold it back.
Overall, I recommend The Flying Noodle for a dinner date option, just do not expect to make it a full 3 course meal kind of date.
Pros: Some vegan options, Housemade pasta, Ambiance
Cons: Not Entirely vegen, No vegan appetizers or desserts

So good! - Edit
They have 2 pastas (with homemade pasta) that can be made vegan and I tried them both. They are both amazing. They also made me a vegan house salad off menu. I will definitely be back anytime I’m in the area.

Vegan friendly - Edit
I always appreciate restaurants being prepared to offer vegan options. They were able to change two pasta dishes into plantbased ones. The food was good, only the portions could have been a little bigger for the price.

Delicious - Edit
Staff was very helpful in establishing what could be made vegan. Appreciate the capability of having vegan kids meal. Vegan pesto was amazing and loved the broccoli and mushroom topping options. Also enjoyed the vegan bread.

Super amazing!😁 - Edit
It was so delicious! I had some white beans as my appetizer (Don’t remember if it came vegan) and I asked for extra garlic bread, which it came with. Then the main course was pasta and marinara with lentil and vegetables. There is not a vegan menu, but on the side it says that you can just ask for options made vegan and the servers will happily provide. The service is very nice and it’s in a lovely area with shopping centers around it. Very awesome!
