Delicious Food and Friendly Staff - Edit

We discovered this restaurant accidentally when we were walking past. The guy working gave us samples and was very kind. We plan to come back often for the delicious food.

Pros: friendly staff, good food, French fries!!!

not clean! - Edit

The staff is very friendly! The falafel was decent. However, I was very turned off at the cleanliness, or lack there of. It was very slow so there was no reason the kitchen and prep area should look as dirty as it did. The falafel sandwich was sloppy and not made well. The pickled slaw looked old and I have been feeling a little sick since I ate there.

The place had a lot of potential and I am hopeful that if I eat there again my experience will be better.

Don't be put off by the badly painted facade-- inside is a falafel genius!! The falafel is light and perfectly seasoned, the veggies are fresh and the sauces are authentic and delicious. You will not be disappointed by this wonderful food and the speedy service. Wonderful!!

A Vegan or non-Vegan Must - Edit

Stopped by on a road trip, and so glad we did! Great food, great service, great creativity. The banana milkshake is amazing! 10/10 would highly recommend. The best falafels I've ever had. All the food is good so can't go wrong. Vegans and non-vegans would love this! It's not greasy but also doesn't taste "vegan". It's healthy but doesn't taste like it.

Pros: service, food

All Vegan "Fast Food" - Edit

I love walking to The Flying Falafel, located at the end of the northbound Los Gatos Creek Trail. They are also close to the Fruitdale Light Rail station; or, if you are driving, they have ample parking space behind the building! The Snacker is a perfect portion for me and goes great with a side of fries (ketchup available upon request) and a banana milkshake (made with rice milk)! I recommend the sesame falafel with the spicy chili sauce-- the spicy falafel is too over-powering for my taste. I am happy to support this vegan business, especially in an under-developed area.

Pros: All vegan, Great tasting food, Convenient location

Great vegan food - Edit

I like their food because it's vegan and prepared daily. The location is great for me as it is very close to my house. The service is friendly and efficient. I usually don't sit outside, just take the food with me. This location used to be a "Wienerschnitzel" and according to the owner, all equipment had to be removed and replaced. It can get busy there, but I don't mind waiting. Love this place!

Pros: Great food, Great service, Reasonable prices

Cons: Only outdoor seating
