Great D/F options, 5 of 6 cakes were vg - Edit
Great wee place, staff lovely nice space, good food and a loyalty card.
Read moreIt's one of my go to places in Dundee, my only niggle is it's policy to charge 50p for d/f milks AND 50p for decaf so my coffee is £1 more regardless of it being the exact same size and that's irritating as both are medically advised choices. It's not cheap to start with so it feels unfair.
Pros: 5/6 cake options were vegan and other v/vg options, Space, staff and food all lovely
Cons: The 50p penalties for d/f AND decaf is unfair, A bit tight for space sometimes so need a plan b

My Go-To Vegan Spot in Dundee 🍴💚 - Edit
🌱 ONION BHAJI WRAP
Read more💰 £7.95
💭 An all-time favourite. Pair it with the soup of the day. The mango chutney? absolute perfection.
🤷🏽♀️ Order again? Always.
🌱 VEGGIE HAGGIS MELT
💰 £9.95
💭 The caramelised onion chutney + Applewood smoked vegan cheese combo is lovely.
🤷🏽♀️ Order again? Yes, but the wrap still wins for me.
🌱 VEGGIE HAGGIS BRIOCHE ROLL
💰 £3.95
💭 Just happy to find a vegan brioche roll, honestly — feels like a rare gem.
🤷🏽♀️ Order again? Yes.
🌱 VEGAN OREO DELUXE MILKSHAKE
💰 £6.95
💭 Star of the show. Genuinely the best vegan milkshake I’ve ever had. Worth every penny, even if it ruins my bank account.
🤷🏽♀️ Order again? A million times yes.
📝 My absolute favourite lunch spot in Dundee. The lunch deal is such a good shout and those milkshakes... I’ve popped in just for a shake more times than I’d admit. Still need to try the famous rainbow bagel!
Pros: Clear vegan labelling, Top-tier milkshakes, Great variety for breakfast or lunch
Cons: No dogs allowed :(, Can get very busy, Pricey — but usually worth it

Best vegan milkshakes - Edit
28/05/22
Read moreMilkshakes from here can be made vegan with plant based milks. They taste amazing. One of their specialties is their rainbow bagels which can have a filling of vegan cream cheese and vegan bacon, which was also tasted amazing. There are other vegan options also to try if you didn't want a bagel, such as a vegan crossiant. They also have vegan confectionary to buy inside the shop.

This time I had a mushroom, cheese and basil ciabatta, which was pretty good with a deluxe hot chocolate with coconut milk, whipped cream and marshmallows.
30/11/2023
I tried the vegan bacon and maple syrup waffles. Really enjoyed them and very filling. I also had a vegan milkshake
09/02/2024
I created my own meal, so I had avocado on toast and added their new vegan bacon. I really liked it. I also had a vegan salted caramel coconut milkshake. The milkshakes are always good
13/05/24
I took lunch away today. I had the vegan bacon and cheese bagel with the hash tots. Both was pretty good. I ordered a vanilla milkshake with a shot of coffee and whipped cream, very nice drink. Lovely as all ways
10/02/25
For lunch I had the vegan bacon and waffles with a coconut matcha. The waffles was just as good as before and the matcha was good too maybe a little too sweet though
20/03/25
Ordered a takeaway iced coconut latte and my friend had an iced oat matcha latte. We both enjoyed them

Stumbled upon this place by accident as we tried somewhere else but there were no vegan options there. We were delighted to see a wide range of cakes and milk alternatives but when we looked at the menu, it was jam packed with vegan options and loads of choice. Food was delicious and service was excellent so a firm favourite now when in Dundee. #Veganuary

Such Great Atmosphere and Food - Edit
They have a fully vegan menu in the main menu folder with just as many options as the meat menu. I had a delicious oat latte and a cinnamon roll - and they were tons more options for sweet treats. 1000% recommend for food and coffee in Dundee!

Seemed like a great idea: rainbow bagels for Pride - Edit
Ordered the onion bhaji rainbow bagel, falafel and houmous rainbow bagel and a portion of hash brown bites with chilli jam and vegan pesto mayo.
Read moreHad initially asked to see the allergen matrix as both my partner and I have quite serious allergies. Was initially told they didn't have one as its hard to keep up to date with regular ingredient changes from suppliers, the manager was happy to check out all the ingredients on things to reassure us and later brought out the outdated matrix.
While we appreciated checking the allergens for us, it was quite an uncomfortable experience because it felt like the whole staff and customers were watching, when if an up to date matrix was available we could have checked discretely ourselves. Found it a little demeaning having the food explained and sauces being brought out into the cafe to publicly show us the labels.
Overall the hash brown bites were great, however we were disappointed with the rest. The bagels were quite hard and stale, the onion bhajis undercooked and the falafel was really crumbly and dry. We think perhaps all the questions about allergies made the staff panic and perhaps being busy due to Pride resulted in sub-par food. A shame, as it seemed promising having a separate vegan menu and lots of good reviews!
Pros: Made vegan pesto mayo to order, Manager had good intentions regarding allergies
Cons: Disappointing famous rainbow bagel, Lack of allergen matrix

Lovely café! - Edit
Even though it's not fully vegan there's so much to love here. An extensive and flexible vegan menu, all delicious and nicely presented, good value and quickly served (even though they said to expect a wait). Inability to choose remains a welcome novelty as a vegan eating out! Plus a friendly young team, LGBTQI-plus friendly vibe, and accessible loo with baby changing, period products and nappies.

Great place to come if ur with non vegan friends, as they sure won't complain about lack of options.
They also see random little Australian snacks (like Tim Tams) for all the Aussies craving a sense of home.
Will definitely be back soon :))

Nice breakfast stop! - Edit
We stopped here on our trip twice, though both times there was no vegan bacon, which is fine, but it wasn't mentioned either time when we were seated with the vegan menu. We left the first time as were both really in the mood for a vegan bacon bagel and then had something else the second time. The coffee was nice and the food we did have was good. The staff said the vegan bacon was on back order which we understood but since there were a few menu-options revolving around the vegan bacon it would have made sense for them to tell us this when they sat us down with the vegan menu.

My favourite cafe! - Edit
Recently found this little cafe and it’s a hidden gem! I’ve tried the cake (divine!) and had an onion bhaji wrap too! Friends with me had meat options. We would all recommend, the food tastes great and is good quality. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Always been busy when I have visited, not many tables so you may be unlucky but it also means it has a lovely atmosphere.

This cafe is lovely for a light lunch with the family. I had an avocado wrap and my fiancé had a jackfruit wrap, they were lovely! I also had an amazing vegan chocolate milkshake, they have several flavours. My little boy had the most amazing rainbow bagel with vegan chocolate spread. Staff are very up on their vegan info. Definitely pay this cafe a visit if you’re near.
