Offers handcrafted ales by the rails (has vegan beer option), plus salads, and wood-fired flatbread pizza of which one is labeled as vegan suitable, the Silver Fern. There's also red pepper hummus served with tortilla chips. Has vegan cheese and can build your own pizza. Open Mon-Thu 12:00pm-11:00pm, Fri-Sat 12:00pm-12:00am, Sun 12:00pm-10:00pm.

Best Vegan in TC - Edit
there is 1 vegan pizza on the menu, and it's excellent. BUT... they will turn any pizza vegan for you, and ask you if you would like to sub for the meat and cheese your pulling off. Great vegan food, and the best service in TC.

They have a delicious vegan pizza on the menu. It's a cheese free pizza with lots and lots of toppings. It's so good along with the fig/pear salad.

We asked the staff about whether cheeses had rennet. They went through all the packages and weren't able to tell (just "enzymes" were listed). The manager came out to speak with us and said he also called the supplier, because we were not the first to ask about this. We ordered the vegan pizza and a beer sampler and really enjoyed both. The outdoor seating with a view of the lake was also great.

Tasty pizza and craft beers - Edit
We recently enjoyed dinner at The Filling Station while in Traverse City. Perched on one of the high tables with two other couples, we enjoyed the craft beers (my favourite one was the Bavarian wheat beer, which was light and refreshing) and pizza. Nice to see a vegan flat bread on the menu. It was real tasty and enough for two along with a salad. They were happy to do a vegan vinaigrette on the side for us.
Laid back style - you order at the bar, get a number stick and a server brings your food order to your table when ready. Can open a tab or pay as you order.
Pros: Vegan options on the menu, Good value for money
Cons: Central enough but need to look for it
