Sadly Disappointing

Both me and my partner are either vegan or vegetarian so we cannot comment on the regular menu items.

Between us we ordered the plant burger and the vegan bolognese. Sadly the burger was quite disappointing with no dressing, salad or tomato/onion and lacked any interest.

The bolognese seemed to be a jarred sauce which is disappointing. It was sweeter than expected and the colour and uniformity of the onion pieces suggested jarred. There was no hint of carrot, celery or anything to suggest it was homemade. The tagliatelle was well cooked but lacked salt.

The saving grace was the chips and the staff were friendly. We cannot comment on the regular options but would not recommend The Fighting Cocks for vegans or vegetarians we left disappointed.
