Don’t order take away from here

I’ve never eaten a meal inside the pub, but have ordered food twice through deliveroo. Both times I have waited over 2 hours for my food with the time constantly being extended past the 30-35 min time. I was informed my deliveroo that when they arrived the food was not ready.
The ordered the beyond burger but I had my suspicions that it was real meat and was cooked it so much oil it made me feel unwell.
It may be better when you go and sit down to eat but do not get it delivered.

Nice meal, inexpensive

Few choices to choose from which was good, other than a burger! Shame only one starter and pudding option, though nice pudding choice 😊

Pros: Few vegan options , Vegan pudding other than fruit 😊, Fairy priced

Cons: Always a burger option 😬

Not a good experience

Our experience was not great. In general the pub looked understaffed and the staff seemed rushed off their feet.

There were significant amount of items on the menu not available. There aren't many vegan options on the menu anyway but this lessen because the missing items. So there ended up being only one vegan starter - tomato soup, 3 vegan mains available and there is only one dessert anyway. Our drinks didn't arrive for a long time.

I had tomato & basil soup and vegetable lasagne. The tomato soup wasn't special and the bread wasn't buttered in order to make it vegan. I don't think it hard to have vegan spread, they widely available. Also another piece of bread would of been good. The Lasagne tasted like a ready meal, it just wasn't that good and it wasn't filling, It was in a round smallish bowl with a bit of salad. I think something else with it would of been good or have a bigger slice of lasagne. But the one is cheap, I guess that's what we paid for.

Other notes were that the women's toilets had no toilet paper/rolls.

I would not recommend this place for vegans.
