Fancy pub lunch

Great to find a pub in the middle of nowhere that still has a great vegan option. I think the menus are part of a chain restaurant as the same menu was featured at other pubs in the area which was a bit disappointing but the options they did have were lovely. A little overpriced considering the options were just veggies 🥬

Good choice for vegans and vegetarians

Although it’s a menu you will see in pub chains they do it better than most!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Very friendly

Brilliant views and a delicious vegan menu

Love this place, would have given it 5 stars if it was an option! Make sure to leave space for dessert - they’re one of the best I’ve had!

Average - the best you will get in cookham for a pub

The pub is right on the river thames and overlooks beautiful scenery.
The vegan food was okay, bland taste. Unfortunately, it probably is the best in this area for vegan food.

To start my partner and i shared the flatbread. It was very basic, its a flatbread with hummus and some salad, which it needs more hummus.

I had the cauliflower wedge as a main, it wasn't what i was expecting, i thought it would be similar to a cauliflower steak. It was just a bland cauliflower on a tiny portion of grains. It tasted okay, not much flavour and fairly oilly. Its portion size was off, like a whole cauliflower and a tiny portion of grains and salad.

My partner had the coconut curry. This was very yummy but different/weird. It was more of a side of blended curry sauce with rice. It was a very small curry portion and the rice was overcooked.

Overall the taste of the food was average and every dish felt like it was missing something. Seems like they are more interested in making it look nice, than the taste.

Im not sure i would go out of my way to recommend. But its better than lots of other places in cookham.

Amazing vegan food

I tried the Nourish bowl (including lentils, quinoa, ribbons of carrots and mooli, cabbage, falafel, tomato bread and crunchy chickpeas) and it was one of the best salad bowls I’ve had.

They also have a plantbased burger that can be made vegan which I would like to try when I come back.

The service was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also some really nice views outdoors by the river.
