Really nice to see a vegan menu with multiple options! - Edit
Had a great date night at The Fed and was super stoked to try their new Vegan menu!
Read moreThis was their first night with the menu so there’s room for improvement but overall I was super pleased and just so happy to see a vegan menu! Our favorites were definitely the chili cheese fries & the cauliflower wings. The cauliflower wings would be amazinggggg with some vegan ranch but the hot sauce it came with wasn’t bad! Pretty tasty! And the chili cheese fries were awesome!! Just wish they had heated the vegan cheese a bit more as vegan cheese just isn’t that good cold lol. Pasta dish has room for improvement (a bit pricey for what it is) but it wasn’t bad, just could use a vegan sauce rather than just melted vegan cheese and steamed veggies. Needs some extra flavor I think, maybe a garlic mushroom sauce would work! And the Beyond Burger was good— maybe cooked a litttttle too long but still tasty. Chili cheese fries and the non alcoholic beverages were definitely the stars of the night!! Super happy with our experience and looking forward to going back and see how they improve over time! Great job, The Fed! Thank y’all for having us!!!! ♥️
Atmosphere was also very nice. Can’t wait to try the patio once it’s warmer out!

I wish I could give The Fed 5 stars but because it’s not a full vegan restaurant- I cant.
Read moreThe buffalo cauliflower wings are absolutely delicious! And they come with a vegan “ranch” sauce.
Iam from Downtown Toronto and these definitely compete with some of the restaurants down there. I will 100% get these again before I leave Kirkland Lake!!
Ps. Alexis and Hailey are awesome staff!
Pros: Great staff, Lots of tvs, Great vegan options
Cons: I wish they brought back the pool table!
