Amazing vegan burger! - Edit
Has 2 vegan options, both looked amazing - the Jack’n’box burger and a mushroom burger.
Read moreI had the Jack’n’box which was satay jackfruit, avocado, hashbrowns, slaw, lettuce, tomato and gherkins. It was delicious and might be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had!

Burger perfection - Edit
These burgers are huge and complex in flavor. I loved that the jack n box burger included crispy hash browns wedged in alongside all of the fillings. These are a special vegan burger -- you haven't had something like this or likely not quite as good.

This Burger is a Challenge - Edit
And I watched many fellow eaters struggle with it. It's honestly one, if not the, biggest and most exceptional burger I had in a very long time. Definitely a must but only if you're hungry enough. Amazing stuff!

Best Vegan Burger I had in NZ - Edit
After traveling all over the South Island, (and after trying fergburger in queenstown) I have to say the Jackfruit Burger I had at The Fat Tui was the best burger (and probably best meal) we've had hands down. A giant juicy jackfruit satay Burger with nutty undertones, a hash brown and avocado... it was soo delicious. After seeing the reviews we were aiming to come here for a feed after kayaking, so we were delighted to find it was right next to Kahu Kayaks, who we had booked a day out kayaking on the Abel Tasman coast with. The crew at The Fat Tui were incredibly friendly, and the delicious burgers they cooked up for us were the perfect end to a beautiful day out on the water. I would give The Fat Tui 5 stars if the Happy Cow would allow it.

Very good - Edit
Great vegan burger. NZ is expensive and this place was a bang for your buck. $14 for a huge vegan burger
