Serves meat, vegan options available. Operates out of an Airstream which stays in one location. Grows mushrooms and greens on-site in shipping containers using organic practices and LED lighting. Several items on the menu are or can be made vegan. Staff understand what vegan means. Choices include flatbread wraps, house-made cashew cheese spread, tofu, salads, and smoothies.

heavily promotes their vegan options - Edit

The Farmery was previously located in RTP but I hadn't visited until they moved to downtown Durham, Geer St. I think the menu is very similar but they don't have breakfast hours or baked goods any more.
The menu clearly labels vegan options and staff are knowledgeable. They use a lot of olives, which I'm not personally a fan of in general, but otherwise their food is delicious and fresh. The flatbread they use is made locally by Scratch and is vegan. Some of their ingredients they grow themselves. They also make their own cashew cheese spread and a vegan pesto. The vast majority of the "sides" and salad toppings are vegan, and all the dressings are vegan. 5 of the 9 "protein" menu options are vegan. They deliver and also do catering, but ordering on site and eating at their outdoor tables is fun.

Pros: several vegan options, clearly labeled, friendly and knowledgeable staff, they constantly promote vegan options
