‘Proper’ pub with good vegan choices

Visited here with a couple of non veggies as we all wanted to try somewhere new to us.

So happy with a separate vegan menu.

I had cauli wings, houmous and a salad, being ‘good’, and the portions were so huge it was enough for three!

I’m dying to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Great service and lovely atmosphere too.

Pros: Friendly, Great choice, Great location

Great little pub!

Great pub, tucked away down a lane in lovely surroundings. Good menu choices, even a vegan dessert! (Vegan ice cream and fruit sundae). Mains were a decent size and really tasty. Jackfruit burger wasn’t exactly a burger, but was still delicious. Staff very friendly. Recommended :)

Decent options for vegans

Good pizza options and a few on the menu including jackfruit burgers etc. Beautiful location with great views.

Pros: Good options , Beautiful location

Cons: Slightly on the expensive side

Pretty Disapointing

Pretty poor overall really, food lacked good taste and seasoning and the non vegans said the same about their food. Hummus had almost zero taste, was missing seasoning and possibly even tahini as never had hummus with so little taste.
The main course was ok which was sweet potato and Auvergne bake but again the veg was plain and completely unseasoned. Didn’t have dessert but there was one vegan option with vegan ice cream too

Pros: Nice place and a few friendly staff

Cons: Bland Food, Very few options

Honest pub fare

A few vegan options. I had butternut squash linguine with sage and pine nuts. A big portion, pretty tasty.
My omni partner was happy, including with his vegan smokey hoummous with pitta and olives. The chips were good.
