Convenient place for stocking up - Edit
For a small place, The Pharmacy had a surprisingly good selection for what we needed for our day on the trails.
Read moreFrom the prepared options, we selected the tempeh sandwich, the vegan love salad, and the stuffed grape leaves. We also enjoyed the rye crackers made by a local producer called Crumbs. The stuffed grape leaves were delicious; the vegan tofu salad was good; and the tempeh sandwich was OK but dry. On our particular day, at the shop, there was no fruit, save for two teeny tiny apples with quite a few holes in them. Also, I would not recommend parking in front of the store: it is a small space on a slope that feeds into a busy street. Fortunately, there is a large overflow, dedicated parking Lot across the street
Pros: Fun selection , Reasonable number of vegan choices , Ample parking across the street
Cons: No fruit offerings in August , Parking adjacent to the store not recommended

Lunch or Grocery Stop! - Edit
The Farmacy is a great Athens spot for lunch or to pick up a few groceries. They have a ton of random veg options that I've never seen anywhere else (vegan pesto mayo??).
Read moreMy sandwich pictured is from their deli section and I was so excited to find it! While I would have probably added 2 times the amount of mayo, it was still really good. They also have little side dishes available in their deli section. Everything has printed labels on them, so you can see what is and is not veg.
On top of the grocery and deli, they also have bulk items and various beauty items. The bathroom things are all very natural and most of which are probably vegan. Just check the label!
They do have a little bit of parking right in front of their building, but it's on quite the slope. Street parking is also available and I believe there is a lot across the street you could probably use too.

Great Store - Edit
Again another store/restaurant I found on Happy Cow for my trip to Ohio. I was really surprised at everything they carried. They even had ghee! I bought some things because the prices were better there than Abq. The Restaurant part was closed so we didn't get to eat but they did recommend we check out the Village Bakery & Cafe! Fell in love with the place!

Love It - Edit
This store is close to where I work and I go here almost every week. Sometimes they offer a raw dessert, tropical or chocolate torte, that is absolutely delicious. I always get a slice when they have it. I'd love it if they would offer more raw food choices on a regular basis. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful and they have a nice variety of items. Parking is available across the street but it can be a little tricky to find a spot when they are busy.

Nice little deli - Edit
The Farmacy is a groovy granola (in a great way) humble store with a deli. They have a really great selection for the size of the store. I stop there every time I'm in Athens. they have great soups, sandwiches, salads, hummus, etc. They also have a nice juice and smoothie bar. The staff is very friendly and quite helpful. The prices are also very reasonable.
