Great food and really generous servings

Their falafel sandwiches are great and so big. The choice of toppings with the sandwiches are really nice, such as babaganoush and harissa. They have a vegan brownie that is lovely too. Really good falafel restaurant!

Relaxing atmosphere, delicious food.

The food here was spot on. Falafel was the best I've had in Asia and the portion sizes are huge! You won't leave hungry that's for sure. The man serving me was very smiley and friendly. Really nice atmosphere with a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. Worth a visit for sure, absolutely delicious!

Awesome Falafel

For ca. 360 baht we had a large dinner including drinks for 2. The falafel salad is huge and really delicious and fresh. You can choose between 4 dips and 4 kinds of pickles (2 of each) and get hummus to your dish. The Salad, the falafel and the dips are so tasty! One of the best falafel we ever ate. The smoothies are also really good. And it's great that the Sweetpotatoes are not fried, they are so delicious. Awesome falafel place.
They have very nice pita bread and coffee with almond milk

Pros: Vegan falafel dishes, good price

Nice and good

I like this place.
You can choose between different options. They have different veggies for the falafel bread/wrap and different sauces.
I like it.

Indeed The Falafelist

When you go to a place named “The Falafelist” you for sure expect the falafels to be on point - which they were. Crispy pita bread for the sandwich and great sauces - I had the tahini and a spicy red sauce (I’ve forgotten the name of).

Very worthwhile when you need a change in food

I was very happy with my visit here. I am a Thai food addict, rarely do I eat this type of food. I ordered the falafel platter. It was a large serving that I could share with another person. The falafel had a great texture, lightly crisp on the outside with good flavor. The hummus was super and made whatever I ate taste better. The pita was good too. When spiced up with the pickles and sauces it made a very flavorful meal.
I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant it is a nice clean modern structure, it is open air that gives a very spacious feeling. Tables are well spread out, so it doesn't feel crowded at all.
The total cost for the platter and a falafel sandwich was very affordable for a place with this type of ambiance. The menu is quite varied and has much more than just falafel.

Pros: Good food at affordable prices, Lovely verandah/courtyard setting, Varied menu

Super yumm

Owners understand veganism and what gluten-free means. The falafels are super tasty, just enough crunch but still moist inside and the gf brownie was soooo good. Highly recommended.

Cons: Hummus and babaganoush needed a bit more salt

A surprising favourite

I really like this place. When I ordered the signature dish, the falafel platter - a combination of falafel with a generous good-quality salad and accompanying little side dishes - I found it a substantial and tasty meal with a reasonable price. I loved it. This, combined with the pleasant restaurant itself and the friendly staff, has made me want to return several times. Other menu options include fruit and vegetable shakes, and a good variety of other options suitable for the vegan. I would definitely recommend it.

Decent place

Falafel with pita is 90 baht, includes your choice of sauces and pickles. I had black olive and radish “pickle”, which was actually just regular olives and some not very pickle-y radishes haha. Even after adding the sauces found it all a bit dry, not sure if hummus was included in the pita already but couldn’t detect any. Overall good but not my favourite falafel by a mile ;)

Pros: decent pricing, spacious open restaurant

Cons: a bit dry, falafel weren’t crispy

Delicious!

The food we ate here was delicious, especially with all the side sauces and pickled vegetables on the side. Fresh salad and very yummy falafel. When you order the platter or falafel salad you choose 2 sauces and 2 pickles. We suggest getting the harissa if you like spice and the tahini and tzatziki was amazing! Lovely atmosphere, good service and good value.

Long wait, No pita Bread

We have to wait for 1.5 hours (for drinks and falafel)!! There were 3 options for falafel dishes. They all said there was pita Bread in iT, but the pitabread was Not available. Too bad!
The falafel was good!

Cons: Long waiting time

Cheap good honest falafel and chips

My dad's middle Eastern, I grew up on falafels and all things considered (we are in northern Thailand!) pretty good. Good chips too at a really good price. I believe falafel pitta is about 90 baht and its pretty substantial. Strange as by Hand Pizza is quite pricey and owned by same people I believe

They pack the pitta with lots of falafel and don't overdo it with hummus so it's a good balance.

Not sure why there is a car seat in there but who am I to question the thai-middle Eastern fusion of style

(would give 5 star but not vegan)

Pros: Great and generous falafel, Good chips , Really reasonably priced

Cons: None

OMG Delicious!

Five star!!! vegan options. This place is open, quiet, and comfortable and the staff was very nice. The falafel was one of the best I’ve ever had - incredibly fresh tasting with crispy outside but melt in your mouth inside. You get to customize your order with an extensive variety of homemade pickled veggies and sauces that were so crazy delicious I licked the bowls. The vegan chocolate cake was also perfection!

Pros: Vegan chocolate cake, Super fresh homemade falafel & condiments

Falafel Power!

The Falafelist has plenty of vegan options. The staff is aware of what it is, and is very friendly. Their falafel are very good, their hummus has a good texture but could be more tasty and spicy. The place is pleasant and central. I found that prices are a bit high considering the portions they serve but the restaurant worth a try.

Pros: vegan options, good falafel, nice place, friendly staff

Cons: a bit pricey, small portions, not 100% vegan

As a Falafalist myself...YES!!

Super good falafel with some nice vegan condiments!
Big crunchy falafel balls, soft in the middle.( Be careful,
they are HOT and i scorched the roof of my mouth 1st
bite in!) Sauces are great and the pickles as well but
you get a very small portion of any you choose.
The thing is quite filling overall..with fries or salad your
set for sure!

Absolutely delicious!!

The falafel salad was so fresh and tasty. It was better than your usual garden salad, having beetroot and radish, plus you can choose two sauces and pickles! It was a large portion, although only 4 falafels. Still more than enough for me. I would definitely recommend!

Pros: falafel salad

A proper falafel sandwich

Went here after being disappointed by the one at Vegan Heaven (which is otherwise great) and was much more satisfied. The variety of sauces was also a nice touch.
The one con: my partner had the falafel plate which was about 60 baht more than the sandwich, but seemed to have basically the same amount of food, maybe a bit more greens. A price adjustment might be nice!

Pros: Delicious, Filling, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Plate version relatively overpriced

Great vegan lunch & dessert

We really enjoyed our visit to The Falafelist. Nice restaurant setting, quiet and relaxing. Lots of vegan choices too.

The menu is small and simple, and the food is well made and presented. The falafel plates (sandwich, platter or salad) come with 2 choices of sauce and 2 kinds of pickle. The tahini & hummus were great, pretty good babaganoush too. All the pickles we tried were delicious.

We tried the pita sandwich and a salad plate. The salad was especially big and beautiful.

Their vegan brownie was moist, chocolatey and big enough to share.

Ps. Gulf Restaurant near the night bazzaar also makes a delicious vegan sharing platter of you're into Middle Eastern food.

falafel based menu with vego options

I called into the Falafelist for dinner and had the falafel salad (฿119) ... lots of very fresh salad with a bed of lettuce and 4 falafels on top ... the salad came with humus and two other dips/sauces ... the falafels were hard but not rock hard (I prefer a softer falafel) ... there are lots of side option choices when you order each menu item ... the Falafelist is a very busy and clean cafe with friendly staff ... free fast wifi available

Pros: vegan options

Cons: serves meat

Nice Falafels

A cute little place with a fairly small menu but is almost entirely veggie and vegan options are clearly labelled. The falafel platter is an excellent, filling and satisfying dish.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Serves meat
