Delicious dessert stop

A little gem in Nelson - just off Baker st, the main street for little shops. There are many good vegan dessert options here, like the waffles, sundaes, and smoothies. I got a waffle with cacao nibs and coconut milk whipped cream that was refreshing and just sweet enough.

Pros: Great art on walls, High prices, Good balance of flavours

Cons: Washroom was behind counter in staff area

Amazing Chai Milkshake

We got the Coconut Chai Milkshake, and it was honestly like drinking an ice cream chai latte. Very delicious!! Service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and cute. I would definitely recommend it!

Pros: All vegan

Downtown location now, not just food truck

Formerly just a food truck, now a shop at 563 Ward St, just up from Baker Street. They serve “iced coconut cream” by Celestial Scoop. Coconut ice cream is used in smoothies (both cold and warm), sundaes, superfood smoothies, waffles and milkshakes. First visit, I had a Supernovaberry Sundae (sauce made with goji berries and goldenberries, topped with coconut whipped cream) for $8. Next time I had the half-order ($7) Classic Waffle with whipped coconut cream, maple syrup and cinnamon. Both really good.

Pros: all vegan

yumm!

Amazing shakes, sundae, waffles and smoothies. The dessert options are DECADENT! All vegan except for honey in some items, which can be subbed with agave.

Pros: incredible taste, high-quality ingredients

Cons: on the pricier side

Trying avoid industrial farming / dairy products? ..or maybe you just don like coconut ice-cream and super-foods.. eitherway, this place has it going on!

Keep it local, healthy and try this alternative to Dairy Queen.

Pros: no artificial flavoured or weird ingredients, local business, down town nelson

Cons: hard to find (behing the Capital Theatre), small staff, secret jem
