Service was really great.

Buuut. All of the food was cold. I'm coming at this as a vegetarian who enjoys raw food, too. There was a seasoning in every dish that completely overtook and ruined the overall taste. The only thing I enjoyed was the faux-meat and faux-gravy dip in their au jus sandwich. The kaiser roll was terrible. I almost ate the sandwich breadless. The ratatouille I had as a side dish was oddly crunchy and cold instead of warm and comforting. The appetizer we ordered was a ball of wet cheese and nothing else. I was so excited to go here, but I'm afraid I will not be returning.

One of the best meals I've had! Staff was fantastic, at first my pizza was way too spicy, but they had no problem taking it back and made me a new one. Nut cheese was very flavorful and brussel spouts perfectly done. I just wish it was a little brighter in the place, we had a bit of trouble seeing.

I've had some really delicious dishes here, and the waitstaff has always been pleasant and helpful. However, the other night despite making mention of my veganism and ordering one of the pizzas with their vegan nut cheese in place of blue cheese I was served the cheese laden version. Because nut cheeses usually look very similar to what I saw on my plate (and the dimly lit restaurant did not aid matters)I took several bites before realizing what had happened.

While this may be something most people could brush off, it wasn't for me. In addition to being vegan, I also have a sensitivity to dairy. I know it was an honest mistake and they handled it well. However, I personally won't be back.

Buffalo, NY doesn't offer a lot of Vegan/Vegetarian options - but times are changing - and this place is, by far, the best in Buffalo. In fact, I would put this up there with the best Vegan/Veg places I've tried around the country.

Having spend two weeks in Cali last year I got to try many Vegan restaurants - and The Eights is just as good as any of them. In fact, I think they're even better and I'm glad they're here in Buffalo!

We tried Their Vegan Sausage / Vegan Cheesesteak / Vegan Pizza (AWESOME!) and Vegan PulledPork. Wow - everything was fantastic. There were four of us and we all picked a different dish as our favorite (yeppers, we all shared).

I would highly, highly recommend.

Oh... and the staff is super nice. That cool guy who works at spot works there too - and the owner took time to talk to us. She's fantastic.

Fantastic vegan offerings. Went with a group that included non-vegans and they raved about how good everything was, especially the pumpkin dip and the pizza. Looking forward to seeing the vegan menu expand even more...

We ate here recently after hearing great things about it and we were not disappointed! We started with their avocado fries with a cilantro jalapeno dip that was to die for - I have never had avocado fries before but they tasted like a little slice of heaven! For a main I had the vegan philly cheesesteak which was incredible! So tasty!

If you are in Buffalo, do yourself a favour and check out this restaurant!
