Delicious vegan food at a reasonable price - Edit
Lots of amazing vegan dishes and cakes. We were spoilt for choice! We had a really good cooked breakfast which was great, but we nosed at the lunch menu and it looked really nice as well. Lots of imaginative dishes - no hummus or falafel in sight! Breakfast was £5/£6 & cakes were £2.50/75. Wish we had a place like this at home! There’s also a little shop to get your vegan essentials/cleaning products/incense etc.

Had the spicy cauliflower wings, Buddha bowl and chickenless burger. All had amazing taste and flavor! Also had 2 smoothies, gorilla and pink refresher, gorgeous! Very reasonable prices and great service too.

We visited The Eating Gorilla in September 2020 on our way to Portmeirion and what a find! I love eating in vegan places as no worrying about what you can and can't have. Good selection of savoury and sweet items and one of the biggest and best scones (with jam and cream) I've ever had.

We are long time fans of what Robin & Diane are doing for meat-free food in North Wales. The vegan food here at the Eating Gorilla is incredible. Pick anything off the menu! My particular favourites are Buffalo Wings (made from cauliflower) the pizzas and the banana split breakfast.

Cozy restaurant run by a lovely family. So many tasty items to choose from and everything is vegan so it's easy to order. We enjoyed everything we tried, but the nut loaf , cauliflower wings, and dessert were my faves. Also dog friendly! They were very welcoming to our dog.

Pleasant surprise to find somewhere 100% vegan. Worth a drive from Portmadog or surrounding areas. Great food and reasonable prices. Gluten free menu too. I had the Buddha bowl and it was very filling.

So reassuring to go somewhere that is 100% vegan! I had the buffalo cauliflower which was heaven. Non veggie husband had falafel heaven and loved it, veggie son had sausage beans and chips (he’s 6!) - gorgeous smoothies and lots of cakes on the menu that I was too full to sample.

Visited this newly opened restaurant at the weekend. Loved it. Great menu, dog friendly, it was packed on the Sunday and yet there was no long wait for our food to be delivered.Particularly loved the sticky buffalo cauliflower wings. Good sized portions too.
Read moreThis restaurant is currently open 7 days a week but not yet open evenings and the location is close to Porthmadog. A great find for anyone on a plant based diet but I expect even carnivores will find something they enjoy here. We will paying another visit very soon.
