Sweet potato tacos. So good 💜

Went for my birthday here and the vegan choice was fab. Had the garlic bread starter which was huge and the sweet potato tacos. Delicious.
The cocktails were amazing too.

Pros: Lots of choice, Lovely staff

Absolutely delicious!

We accidentally stumbled across this as it served food the latest on a weekday! The cauliflower steaks and kofta wraps were incredible, uniquely flavoured and not trying to imitate non-vegan food. It was authentic and well priced, a must if you’re in the area!

Pros: Lots of choice , Friendly , Good value for money

Really nice to find vegan options

Found this by chance. It displayed vegan options on the board outside so we went in. Menu clearly marked with vegan and vegetarian options. My daughter had Iranian Koftas on flatbread which were amazing and I had the spicy lentil fajitas which were marked vegetarian but I asked the waitress who was very helpful and we were able to veganise them (no cheese and swap yoghurt for soy yoghurt). I was impressed because finding vegan options listed on a menu in Cumbria is extremely rare. They even had a vegan pudding on the menu (choc and coconut tart). Nice atmosphere although a lot of meat and eggs and cheese being consumed around me. The food is prepared and cooked in an open kitchen which was great to see and the ladies toilets are fabulous! I will definitely return. Well done!

Pros: a few very nice vegan options, nice independent restaurant

Cons: fairly expensive, lots of meaty dishes
