Good range and good price

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of options for a pub.
I got the katsu burger and it was very nice.
They don't put all the options on the main menu so make sure to get a vegan menu

Pros: Good range of options , Not too expensive , Good customer service

Separate Meat Free Menu

Nice bar for a spot of lunch at £6.29 between 12-5 during the week or in my case some chips with a pint whilst out on the bike. Separate veg / vegan menu too.

Pros: Vegan menu , Outdoor seats

My first visit 07/07/21

I was very impressed with the choice of vegan dishes on the menu I had the Sri Lankan Curry which was amazing. Other choices were; pasta bake, a vegan burger, lentil and spinach pie and a sweet chilli rice noodles dish which I thought was pretty good. There were 3 desserts which is very unusual. I went for the millionaire shotbread gold bar with strawberry sauce.
They stocked a very nice French vegan white wine.
The place lacked atmosphere and was very quiet for a Saturday evening. However we visited during the university holidays and I suspect the atmosphere would be better during term time.
We would definitely go back or try another Ember Inn , somewhere else.

Pros: Lots of vegan choices , The food was very good

Cons: It’s part of a chain , It lacked atmosphere , No table service

Good choices

They don't put all the vegan options on the main menu so at first glance you might think there isn't much choice. Ask for vegan menu or order on app for full list. I had the tofu pasta bake which was delicious, hubby had burger which he said was also very good but was very disappointed that it didn't come with chips - their chips aren't listed as vegan so not cooked separately from meat. No vegan starters which was a shame, but 3 vegan puddings and they also have oat milk.

Pros: 3 desserts

Cons: No starters
