Unreliable menu and rude service - Edit
On the way to the Royal Albatross Center so convenient but better to go to the Royal Albatross Center cafe as they have vegan pies which were delicious. Granola, vegan French toast and mushrooms on toast, vegan cinnamon roll was very good. However the service ruined the whole experience. After we ordered and paid we were told nothing is available as they are out of everything except granola. Instead of apologizing I was given excuses why they didn’t know and was given attitude by another person. Charging extra credit card fees when food was not available and then giving me eye rolls for refunding the credit card fees. These fees would not have been an issue if they were apologetic and offered free coffee or something for the trouble of wasting our time as we had little time to start with.

Nice location and good food. - Edit
It is a nice spot along the bay. Though, a busy spot on a Saturday for brunch. A few vegan items on the menu and some cabinet food too. The cinny scroll is good but I do wish there was frosting on it. I had the kimchi loaded fries and they were very good.

Amazing vegan cinnamon scrolls - Edit
The Duck is not a vegan cafe per se but the vegan options they do provide are excellent. The cinnamon scrolls are easily the best I've had. #Veganuary

Pros: Great food, especially the vegan and GF options, good coffee, good service and live music on occasion.
Cons: Not full vegan but that's hard to do in this town.

The Duck - Edit
Nice cafe with a small vegan selection. You can find the current menu with the dishes marked vegan on Instagram. There were also vegan cinnamon rolls and cookies at the counter. We thought it was very tasty.

Many vegan options - Edit
I have just been there. Unfortunately I had lunch before. Therefore I had only a coffee latte with oat milk and cinnamon roll. Both were great.

No vegan cabinet options - Edit
We came here today, hoping for some cabinet treats. No vegan options at all…. Such a shame. All cakes and cookies were non vegan.

Nice food, setting and staff - Edit
Vegan options are well marked on the menu. The staff are. Ice and prices decent. We tried the strawberry milkshakes (with soy, $5.50 each), burger and French toast on our latest visit - all tasty and well priced, good sized meals too so certainly didn’t leave hungry. Nice spot with a sea view too.
