One of the most consistently good restaurants with a wide range of vegan options. The vegan cheeses are really good and the pizza base is classic. Also points for an excellent garlic bread. I would personally take it and sit by the river rather than eating in.

Lovely little spot - Edit
Went here with a friend for lunch - really lovely spot right. Pizzas all cooked fresh in a big pizza oven - the vegan garlic bread was the best I have had in a long time. Will definitely come here again. Plastic free zone too which is a good selling point.

Fantastic selection of vegan food and drink - Edit
We popped in for a quick bite for lunch, the Drill Hall is very dog friendly and there is a complete and extensive vegan menu. We had the vegan 4 cheese and the Vegan pomodoro pizzas with 2 coconut cappuccinos, absolutely delicious and already thinking about what we will try next time, probably the vegan calzone and the vegan mushroom garlic and truffle pizzas!

I wasn’t expecting much in the way of vegan food in Sandwich but I was pleasantly surprised to find (and eat twice my body weight at) The Drill Hall.

We had wonderful vegan pizzas here. There is a lot of choice. I had a vegan gluten free pizza that actually had a really tasty base that looked like a real pizza, which for gluten free is miraculous!
Read moreMy son and mum both had meat pizzas which were also delicious. They do vegan ice creams there too which are fab. Well worth a visit.
