Scence Vegan High Tea also for kids

We loved it. It was more than enough with the option for more. The Präsentation for the kid on a rocket was very nice.

Good but not great

The afternoon tea was Ok, but not so great in my opinion. I expected a lot more that for the price. But I liked the theme of this afternoon tea !

Unique Experience

I was recommended this place by a fellow HappyCower. The afternoon tea experience focuses on the science of it. I enjoyed the tea and all of the different snacks that came with it. There was one part I was a little confused on when it came to adding the different ingredients together to create your own concoction, but the waitress came quickly to the rescue to help. #Veganuary

Science Afternoon Tea

We had a wonderful afternoon enjoying afternoon tea for my partner's big "0" birthday.

There's a selection of teas with a useful description of each. We all chose differently but all enjoyed our choices.

The pre-ordered afternoon teas arrived soon after, beautifully presented and with much interest on the part of the birthday boy, being able to make his own lemonade and "dig" for fossils (chocolates in crumbled biscuits).

The scones were excellent. Could have done with some vegan cream, given it's availability these days, but the jam and spread were excellent.

Sandwiches were interesting fillings, very fresh and plentiful.

The cakes were beautiful.

Overall, it was a little chocolate and berry heavy. It's a classic combo but there are other options these days!

Regardless, the food and service were excellent and we would return. Well worth a visit!

Pros: Lovely service and ambiance

Cons: Pricey but worth it!

The Drawing Rooms at The Ampersand Hotel

What a unique and lovely vegan afternoon tea experience! Definitely felt like a science experiment from childhood, but with tasty vegan food! I absolutely loved the vegan hotdog open (which had a snap to it), as well as the other savory items, some traditional British items, and the vegan macaroon! Definitely cannot go wrong here, this is the best vegan afternoon tea experience I have had in London to date.
