loads of choice, one of their chefs is vegan and you can absolutely tell with the level of creativity. the beetroot hummus and vegan feta sharing board was great. the vegan steak was very nice but without the peppercorn sauce it might have been a bit bland. the sauce was amazing though. they even had vegan ice cream and were happy to make up a little vegan affogato on the fly.

Pros: plenty vegan options, amazing creativity, extremely friendly service with great chat

Cons: spenny but worth it

Good vibes

The garlic, onion and truffle soup was DEVINE. Unfortunately thought the vegan steak was a bit bland and blah, but the soup was so good it had such big shoes too fill.
Breakfast in the morning was beautiful, lots of vegan goodies to eat too

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Soup was incredible

Cons: Expensive, Steak was tasteless

Fabulous vegan options

This was one of the most original and delicious vegan meals I have had. The vegan steak was fantastic and the staff was so kind and accommodating! Very highly recommended.

Thoughtful vegan options

One of the better dinner experiences I've had on Arran as a vegan. The menu had several clearly marked vegan options. The Brazilian curry is solid but the vegan steak (which I think involved some kind of VWG / bean combination) was especially good and comes with a vegan peppercorn sauce. Several nice vegan desert options too including sticky toffee pudding and blancmange. The bistro is a pleasant place to eat and the staff were friendly and helpful. Make sure you book ahead to avoid disappointment (ask nicely)
