Good quality food

Clearly labelled vegan options on the menu (Thai curry, Moving Mountains burger, salad and jackfruit wrap). I had the burger, which came with massive delicious chips and was really tasty.

For dessert, I was looking forward to the vegan panna cotta, but unfortunately they were all out! This was the only vegan dessert so we didn't have anything.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. They understood veganism and went out of their way to find out anything they didn't know from the chef.

Pros: Tasty food, Great staff, Nice atmosphere

Cons: No dessert!

Reasonable Sunday Lunch option

We chose to visit here because there was a vegan Sunday lunch option available with meat options for other family members. The vg option was a tomato and almond tart which was tasty although a little burned on top! Vegan gravy available if requested. The only other vg option was a burger on the reduced post-lockdown menu. Plum crumble and soy custard was lovely.

Pros: Vg Sunday lunch , Vg dessert options

Cons: Cooking could have been better

Separate vegan menu

I’ve eaten here a few times as the pub is next door to the Premier Inn. The vegan menu is available but always have to ask for it from behind the bar. Being part of a chain, the food is pretty consistent but at the moment whatever the dish, often is butternut squash and sweet potato based. Pleasant pub atmosphere.

Pros: Next door to the Premier Inn so convenient, Separate vegan menu with several choices

Cons: None
