Donuts mit Liebe bereitet für jeden Geschmack!

Mein Bild von Donuts mit unnatürlichem Geschmack, wurde gänzlich auf den Kopf gestellt, als ich auf das Donut Lab gestoßen bin. Es gibt so viele verschiedene Sorten, ob süß oder herzhaft (Everything Bagel, hmm!), dass man sich am liebsten durch die gesamte Karte probieren möchte. Man schmeckt, dass alles handgemacht und frisch zubereitet ist. ☺️ Das Café ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und es gibt nicht Schöneres, als mit einem Donut sowie hausgemachter Limonade da zu sitzen und den Nachmittag ausklingen zu lassen. ☀️

Pros: Handgemacht, Geschmacksvielfalt, Gemütliche Atmosphäre

Best Donuts I’ve ever had.

I have to admit - I actually am not a fan of donuts. Usually they never satisfy my sweet tooth because of too much dough and not enough flavour.
But this here - this is the place where everything comes together. Fluffy dough, creamy fillings, fruity glazing - soft and crunchy, sweet or savoury - I’ve tried it all. You can really taste that everything is hand made. And: most of the time more than half of the donuts are vegan! A huge plus!
The staff is super friendly and helpful with explaining the different styles of donuts, the interior is amazing with lots of hints and references to the ‘Lab’ in the name.
Go and get your sweet fix, or even your savoury one - you will not regret it.

Ein MUSS für Donut-Liebhaber!

Das Donut Lab in Mannheim hat meine Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen und mich mit seinen köstlichen Kreationen in den siebten Himmel der Geschmacksexplosionen katapultiert. Als großer Donut-Fan konnte ich es kaum erwarten, dieses kleine Paradies zu besuchen, und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.

Schon beim Betreten des Ladens wurde ich von einem verlockenden Duft nach frisch gebackenen Donuts empfangen. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter begrüßten mich herzlich und standen mir geduldig zur Seite, als ich mich durch die beeindruckende Auswahl an Donuts kämpfte.

Nachdem ich mich für eine Auswahl an Donuts entschieden hatte, konnte ich es kaum erwarten, sie zu probieren. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Die Donuts waren frisch, luftig und unglaublich lecker. Jeder Bissen war ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis. Die verschiedenen Toppings und Füllungen waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und sorgten für eine harmonische Kombination aus süß und salzig.

Alles in allem kann ich das Donut Lab in Mannheim uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Qualität der Donuts ist herausragend, die Auswahl ist riesig und das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Egal, ob man ein süßes Frühstück sucht, einen Snack für zwischendurch oder einfach nur Lust auf etwas Besonderes hat - das Donut Lab ist definitiv die richtige Adresse. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und ich werde mit Sicherheit wiederkommen!!!

Unfortunately a bit underwhelming

I feel bad I have to say this, because I was so excited to try these donuts: I'm disappointed.
I went there for the first time a few months ago. The donuts were not great, but okay. I wanted to give them a second chance because I really wanted to like this place, since they have many vegan options. But this time it was worse. I had the apple cinnamon roll and the mixed berry jam donut. They had a strange artificial taste and the dough of the cinnamon roll was still raw around the core. So not "premium" at all and not worth the high price.

We certainly hope you will give it another try and would be more than happy to help you find the donut style and flavor that best suits your preferences.

Regarding the "artificial" taste, we want to point out that we do not use any artifical flavoring, preservatives or any such ingredients. What you perceived as "artificial" was probably the secret ingredient (a natural ingredient) we put in our mixed berry jam, which is a fan favorite at our store.

Prices reflect the effort we put into each donut as all our products (doughs, fillings, glazes etc.) are handmade and we do not use ready-made mixes of any sort. You can even watch our bakers at work as we have a fully transparent production.
