Best place in Joseph!

My girlfriend and I love this small restaurant. There are usually a couple of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu, but almost every dish can be made vegan or vegetarian just by asking. The owners are knowledgeable about vegan and vegetarian food and are picky about sourcing high quality products. They have a rotating menu every week and offer tofu AND jackfruit in place of meat for every dish possible. This week was a Chinese menu that had Spicy Spinach and Vegetarian Fried Rice on the menu, two explicitly vegan dishes out of a total of eight items on the menu - we also ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan with tofu and jackfruit in place of chicken. The owners are very happy to do that!

UPDATE (Oct. 19, 2023): My recent visit allowed me to purchase a quart mason jar of their house-made vegan kimchi - OMG! So delicious! On my next stop I will be purchasing several jars because I ate this entire jar in a few days.

Great Vegan Options, Clearly Marked Menu

Would give it 5 stars but they have some meat options so I can't.

My partner and I had the watermelon salad, cucumber salad, Nam Prik noodles, and garlic and pinenut green beans (they were able to make them vegan by omitting the cheese). Everything was delicious and flavorful!

Vegan options were clearly marked on the menu and they were knowledgeable about ingredients in their items. They had a great wine list too!

Unfortunately no vegan desserts😒
