Flavourful food at great prices! - Edit
This is a branch of Wetherspoon which is a chain that’s always good for a tasty meal at a great price!
Read moreThis branch had lots of seating with an outside area at the front and upstairs beer garden as well. The seating area towards the back of the pub felt a bit dingy but seating at the front was well lit.
We visited twice as we were working nearby and it was a great cheap option! On our first visit we went for the Mangalorean roasted cauliflower & spinach curry and Katsu Quorn nugget curry. As it was Thursday Curry Night we got them at cut price but even at normal price they are around £10 or less including a soft drink! They weren’t the biggest portions but both curries were full of flavour and I really enjoyed them.
On our second visit I got the Chilli bean non-carne and my wife got the Ramen noodle bowl. Again it was less than a tenner for a very tasty meal with a soft drink! I really enjoyed my chilli which had a lovely rich smokey flavour and my wife also loved her ramen.
You can’t really beat Wetherspoon for a budget meal as the food is very tasty and where else can you get a full meal with a drink for less than a tenner?
Pros: Flavourful food, Great value, Lots of seating
Cons: Portion sizes could be bigger

Decent inexpensive vegan options in a pub setting - Edit
We were struggling to find somewhere open in the late afternoon and decided on here. Got a quorn katsu curry, side of quorn nuggets to share and the fiesta burger. Also 2 drinks and totalled £25. Tasty enough and cheaper than other places.
