Amazing find! - Edit
I got too excited while eating these goodies that I only took a picture of one. The stand out to me was the lemon cake. If you like desserts with a strong lemon flavor, you'll probably love it too. 🍋

So many vegan options! - Edit
This bakery is actually mostly vegan, with a small number of items that are not vegan. Ok, maybe not small, like maybe 20% of the items are not vegan, but that's really good for a shop that focuses on being gluten free and not vegan. Love that they have so many vegan options!
Read moreI love the freezer section because there are just that many more options, and you don't have to worry to call ahead or pre-plan, as there are tons to choose from for your gluten free palate to be happy. They had bagels, baguettes, waffles, cookies, cakes, pizza, and pizza dough.
I was in a rush so I didn't order any food to be made to order, but, next time.
From the "fresh" cases on display, I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, 2 creme pies and a cinnamon roll. The double chocolate chip creme pie/ cookie sandwich was awesome, but, the price is not something someone can just say, yes, let me order half a dozen ($24) for a party on a whim. The regular chocolate chip cookie was good in flavor and the exterior looked good, but the interior seemed a little underbaked for my taste.
Overall, I was very happy with the Difference Baker and its vegan offerings, and I would highly recommend to anyone who is vegan and gluten free in their dietary choices.

Local Vegan Donuts!!!! - Edit
Omg I was so thrilled to find out this place was just a mile from me. They make vegan glazed donuts on the spot, served warm and fresh, and their vegan breakfast sandwich with coconut bacon flakes is divine. Note that there is outdoor seating only. They also have a freezer of pre-made goods for take and bake as well. Everything is very well labeled (vegan, gluten free, etc). This place is definitely my guilty pleasure :).

Great that there are so many options! The vegan breakfast sandwich didn‘t have a lot of taste and overall everything was quite expensive. It seemed to be a religious/ christian store, there were a lot of bible verses. Would go there again though to try more stuff.

I purchased the oatmeal crème pie and was hesitant because it looked hard and stale. It was anything but that. The crème was soft and delicious and the cookie had a great bite to it. I will be coming back every time I’m in the area.

As someone new to navigating the gluten free world who also hated baking, this place is great! I have loved their donuts and chocolate chip cookie cake! I only wish they had more vegan options. Lots of egg and dairy in many of the items
