Such a nice place

Visited this place after some research as we were arriving to the John Wayne Airport in the early AM (9am) so I wanted to stop at a hidden gem on the way to the Anaheim Convention center and I’m so glad we did. The portions are huge. You’d think a place with so many vegan options would skimp on the portions but they do not. The wings are amazing, they got them so crispy and flavorful. I got a “side” of potatoes but it was like a whole other meal, we couldn’t finish them. The vegan waffles were wheat but they seasoned the batter because just by themselves they were good. I got the vegan Mac and cheese with soyrizo and couldn’t finish it. My husband had to finish it for me and he really enjoyed it. Overall this is such a great place. Lots of tasty vegan options.

Pros: Portions, Price , Flavor

Amazing food and very cool atmosphere

Originally ordered to go, but had to stay to hang out in such a great space. Hope they continue to expand their vegan options, because what they do have tastes amazing. Price is very reasonable.

Pros: Food is AMAZING, fresh, and delicious , Atmosphere is very chill, unique , Did I mention the food is amazing?

Cons: None

Delightful atmosphere and service

They had special free offerings for Mother’s Day: mimosa and chocolate-dipped strawberry (don’t think it was vegan? Gave it to my toddler). Had the turmeric hummus and Belgian waffle, which are tasty vegan options. Hubby didn’t like his real chicken burrito. Artsy decoration, amazing service (the hummus appetizer was free because it was served last). Highly recommend! There was a mini farmers market right outside, with vegan goodies too!

Pros: This place has a soul!, Location in trendy part of Santa Ana, Good vegan options

One of my staple Veg-friendly places

I’ve been coming here for years and years. Always a really chill vibe and a great selection of coffee and tea drinks (also an incredible sangria) I usually get the vegan ‘chicken’ wrap and hummus plate with veggies and pita. It’s good every time. The outdoor seating is lovely as well.

Pros: friendly staff , welcoming atmosphere

Cons: parking is usually a bit difficult

The Gypsy Den

The restaurant was adorable. I had the vegan chicken wrap. The chicken was a little too real for me lol. Everyone else enjoyed their food. The service was sooo slow, the only negative.

Love this Place!

Super fun and eclectic ambiance and great food. So nice to have this eccentric restaurant in the art district of Santa Ana. Great to take friends from out of town, which we did a few days ago. Veggie-friendly and also good food for the non-vegetarians. Makes everyone happy. I had a nice salad and my husband enjoyed the vegan chicken wrap. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. My nephew had nachos which also looked delicious. So happy to support our vegetarian restaurants in the OC!! We need more!!!

Pros: Great food, Gread ambiance - very cool!, Open mic nights for music and poetry

Cons: May have a homeless person approach if sitting out

Great atmosphere and food

This is a lovely eclectic cafe with some really great food. It's so nice to see a unique spot in the otherwise dull Orange County.

While there are only a few vegan items on the menu, they do them well and I appreciate that they're clearly marked. The servers are in the know about their vegan stuff, and are all really friendly.

The mushroom and "bacon" burger is a must-try; it's extra delicious with a side of rough-cut potato fries. Just make sure check which dipping sauces are vegan.

There's a nice range of vegan baked goods at the counter too. The coffee leaves a little to be desired, but their big range of sweet drinks and relaxing vibe more than makes up for it.

Pros: Cool place, cool people, vegan options clearly marked

Cons: Could do with a few more vegan options
