Soggy Sausage Roll

The location of this cafe is great! It's in the grounds of Hylands Park and not too far from the car park. We really liked that there's a separate dog friendly area so that everyone is happy. We love dogs 🐕 and done mind eating alongside them, but not everyone feels the same.
The vegan items on the menu are all pretty similar to each other. We decided we couldn't go wrong with a home-made sausage roll and a cup of coffee. We sat outside in the courtyard enjoying the peaceful environment and looking forward to the sausage roll but sadly it was very disappointing. It was soggy. It seemed to have been heated up in a microwave so the pastry was limp and damp. We should have ordered the Toastie!
