So little for so much - Edit

A bowl of olives, a mineral water and six so-called dumplings (which were actually more like ravioli in size and shape)...for $39. Sheeesh !
The food was great but you'd need three main courses to get a main course size and the price was ridiculous.
And the waiter pretended to see if they had room...yet in the time I was there there were only two other diners. Pretentious or what.

Pros: Food is good

Cons: Ridiculously small portions at a high price

So-so - Edit

Just had dinner here. Ordered the onion rings, the dumplings, and the pineapple curry. Quality ranged from good to middling. The curry in particular was disappointing—a bit underseasoned and too much sauce for too little rice. I also found it a bit weird that the dumplings were served before the onion rings. Bill total came to AU$57 without drinks, which was pricey for what we got. This was one of those meals where I don't think I would've missed much had I not dined here.

Cons: overpriced

Vegan brekkie - Edit

Self serve vegan brekkie was delicious with scrambled tofu "eggs" and a range of pastries, salads, fruits, drinks etc...seems popular with locals

Best quality and ambiance vegetarian restaurant in Sydney, if not Australia. - Edit

Lots of creative options to come back and try in future, excellent service, ambiance, decor, presentation and flavour, which in my books is a winning combination.
Would highly recommend this to any vegan/vego/and even non-veg groups.

Pros: Large selection, Satisfying meals, Awesome tasting

delicious classy cafe - Edit

The ice coffee is amazing, and the owner was super helpful about my mother's very specific dietary needs. We've been back many times.

Fabulous - Edit

Warm, inviting, relaxed and delicious. The food was beautiful, I recommend the stuffed mushrooms and dumplings. Perhaps the Lady Vengance cocktail mixed by Gemma and the friendly Italians smiles of Miacol serving your table. We had a great time and the decor is rustic and modern from salvaged parts of a chocolate factory.

Best Sydney Vegitarian Restaurant - Edit

This is my favourite vegetarian restaurant in Sydney. It has a great menu with interesting salads, starters and mains, most of which can be vegan options. The restaurant's smart decor provides a peaceful and comfortable environment. And the friendly staff and quick service have made this place a memorable dining experience overtime I have been.

Pros: Great Food, Comfortable Environment, Quick & Friendly Service

Cons: Could have more raw dishes

Fantastic food; service on the improve - Edit

We were a family of 6, and the two waitresses got off to a bad start. The manager stepped in, corrected the mistakes and when the food arrived it was simply fantastic. Restaurant is only 3 months old. It will get over it smiley teething problems. A great vegetarian option in Bondi.

Pros: Very creative chef. Both vegans and vegetarians we

Cons: Expensive; poor acoustics- we could barely hear ea

Dandy indeed - Edit

This place has filled a long standing void in Sydney by offering something a little more upmarket that's very vegan friendly. It's an industrial yet cosy setting - a winning combo for sure - and the service was all smiles and otherwise great. A little pricey but commensurate with this standard of restaurant.

The food was imaginative and novel without being "out there" and it all presented well and tasted extremely nice. The portions are on the smaller side but there's also something positive about being left wanting for more; this isn't about filling up but about having a nice night out trying something new. A couple of drinks and this was a very pleasant experience.

Two letdowns:

One - The cakes at the end of the night. One was okay, the other less than okay. They had that quintessential "raw" thing about them - if you like that great but if you don't then you know what I'm talking about. There were other options that might have been different.

Two - It's not all vegan. Which is a real shame because there seemed to be much more vegan stuff than nonvegan, and I didn't see any great avail in those nonvegan offerings. A sprinkling of parmesan here or a slice of feta there - there's no need for that when you otherwise show great inventiveness with the vegan offerings. Ditch the malevolence towards cattle and chickens and this place would be a vegan icon in Sydney.

All in all - well worth a visit.

Pros: Great setting, Yummy food

Cons: Not vegan

Amazing vegan/vegetarian restaurant! - Edit

I had the pleasure of having dinner at The Dandylion recently. Being vegan, there aren't many restaurants specialising in Vegan food, let alone with vegan-friendly options. After looking at the menu - the food all sounded delicious! Deciding what to eat was the major challenge - and I wasn't disappointed at all, sharing the dumplings to start, and the Seitan fajitas, and stew with my partner. Even as a non-vegan, he loved it! The staff are really friendly, the atmosphere is really warm with a funky interior, and I can't wait to go back to work my way through the amazing menu.

Pros: Great menu, Quality food, Friendly service

Cons: Small restaurant, Open quite late for breakfast, Quite pricey
