Cosy village pub with vegan menu - Edit
We haven’t been to the crown in a while so it was good to be reminded of how brilliant their menus are! For a small village pub they have a separate vegan menu with 3 x starters, 2 x mains and 3 x desserts to choose from (which are NOT sorbet!!!!).
Read moreWe took our neighbours tonight as a thank you for looking after our cats and they also explored the vegan choices and were impressed. Very reasonable pricing too.

The pub is an extension of this.
Today (Saturday) they have a cinema night outside and I’m sure it’s going to be wonderful!

What a great find while out walking. Friendly owner and staff and a great vegan menu with lots to choose from. The food was amazing from the starter to the sweet. Highly recommended. Monday and Tuesday the pub is closed but well worth the visit and dog friendly. Two happy visitors from Camp Beagle. FREE THE MBR BEAGLES

Our Favourite Local Place - Edit
We are regulars at The Crown and love their monthly vegan nights, where the whole pub is vegan for the evening. They also run a vegan menu daily and the food is always high quality and tasty. Generous portions, great choice, and thoughtful dishes that aren’t just curry or a Buddha bowl. The desserts are great and they do a decent roast equivalent, plus a delicious banana blossom fish and chips. All my non-vegan friends love the vegan food too - highly recommend! Dogs allowed in the garden (which is gorgeous) and the bar inside. Staff are great and knowledgable about ingredients.

The chef here is really very talented; there are a lot of vegan options, we have eaten here a few times and have always been very impressed. The staff could not be more welcoming, this really is a lovely place to visit.

Monthly Vegan nights 5stars! - Edit
I can't give 5 stars because it's an omni venue, but the vegan menu and vegan nights are worthy of all 5 stars. Vegan chef, knowledgeable bar staff serving vegan wines and excellent wait staff. The choice of multiple high quality dishes is a real treat. Gorgeous setting too.
